True, but i got this feeling that some of them think like this: Let's hunt down lesser popular artists with talent and steal form them. Less popular, less expoure, less hassle. i hope that made sense...it's kinda hard to explain.

if you're really concerned about art theft just use the watermark feature. But think about it like this; how much money are you making off of your art? Do you think someone's going to rip you off to get a piece of that action (especially if you watermark it may take longer to edit out a watermark than it takes to do the art itself?) The promotional value of publishing your art far outweighs the risk of art theft in my opinion.

Ask artists you like to critique your work and give you advice, it's valuable and free.
