# About me
Interested in mathematics, programming, neuroscience/philosophy/AI (Basically how sentience/sapience works, how you get free will, that shizzle) and physics. The username is a bit of a joke; a god who is agnostic doesn't know if gods exist. The 'I don't believe I have one' line is where a name would normally go.I don't log on very often, so don't expect me to post more than twice a year here. I have on and off activity almost everywhere I go, though; humans are kind of exhausting and sometimes I just need to get a week long break from them somehow. I have a cycling introvert/extrovert personality; sometimes I can't get enough of people, other times any people is too much.
I have a tendency towards making and then killing tons and tons of solo projects. Sometimes they'll actually be perfectly readable or over 50% complete, but finishing and me don't do well I suppose. If someone else asks me to do something though I usually get it done fairly quickly, in a few days, but people usually don't ask me for complicated stuff, just layouts or simple programs/art. Anyway, that's my explanation if you hear me talk about something to myself (or maybe to you briefly; sometimes I like to ask people for inspiration about something) and then never hear about it again.

I found it kind of interesting how the creators said there was a 'White/innocent Light' and a 'Black/murderous Light', but both were very arrogant. In the beginning, when he first saw the death note, we had innocent light for a total of... Half an episode before he went into dark Light.
It amazes me how, even as he suspected the death note had a compulsion on people to use it at least once, he slid so easily into using it. White Light wasn't really the opposite of Black Light, merely a more powerless one who had yet to be affected by the Death Note (Willingly).
He did seem to get progressively crazier and blacker over time, though, although it's hard to tell if it simply was a matter of opportunity for it.
It brings up the question of, was he defeated because of the death note's affects on his mind? Because Near and the others truly were together equal/smarter than L? Or because time built up the evidence against him as he made one little mistake after another very slowly?

Well if Near is smarter, wouldn't he have been chosen in the first place, instead of L? Plus, Near admits it himself that L is smarter. That's just my opinion.

I think L is smarter. It just kills me that a show about extremely smart guys didn't end up letting the smartest guy win, though.
But, Death Note wasn't really about intelligence versus intelligence, though it seemed so sometimes. It was more about, in my opinion, how humans would really act in that moral situation. And smart people don't always win in real life.

Hmm, I doubt they got it exact as a real situation (Mind, there wouldn't be one. Ryuk, after all, is made up.) but some things I think they got right, like it being an internet sensation if it happened.
This is geeky of me but I always wished we could have seen one of the characters typing on one of the Kira fan sites, maybe L arguing against him, and then another character seeing it by accident and getting into an online discussion with them. They'd never know who the other was. It'd be hilarious.
I think there would actually be Kira-inspired crimes sky-rocketing everywhere at some point, with loads of people proclaiming themselves righteous, perhaps religious or otherwise, and then getting confused when Kira doesn't seem to show a preference for any religion. (Which would further an L's belief that the Kira thinks he's a God, if any suspicion was there.)
That kind of brings me to my next point, though. L. Don't think that part would happen in the real world. Real cases generally can't be solved simply by looking with an ingenious eye, they usually require a bunch of evidence from the scene... Which wasn't really abundant in the Kira case, which brings up the question of whether it would actually be solvable?
