Okay, now I don't want to sound like some jerk or anything but why do you comment on my work without a single critique or be misunderstood with my work without understanding what I'm pointing out? Again, I'm not being mean but I'm curious. If you don't like my work you don't have to comment. I think you're being a little harsh. Don't take it personally, but I'm just saying.

Actually, I think what I was trying to say back on one of your other deviations is that I was wondering if this was an example of Chickification.
It's hard for me to give a good description of Chickification without a good example. Fortunately, Dora the Explorer is the perfect example. Originally a character on a TV series of the same name who actually lived up to her title, Dora attracted both boys and girls. Now, some will say that treating viewers like goldfish was pretty bad in of itself, [link] but that's another issue altogether. At some point, she was redesigned to appeal exclusively to little girls focusing much more on looks. Here's her originally [link] and here's her redesign. [link]
My question is this. How much are Melody's tastes and interests (and things like that) going to change?

Well, she will still keep her sword and her fighting spirit. I had to change Melody's appearence because many people called her a "straight-haired Merida". I know she still has Merida's red hair but I just had to give her a redesign.

Actually, it's just because I wanted to get the height of the Mane Six. Once I get to use that picture and others for my purpose, they will be removed from my favorites.

sorry for the late reply ( one month late to be exact) ... as i seldom visit my da. Nops , i would certainly resort to the canon if there is someone suitable for Rainbow Dash. Rather than see her been shipped with spitfire ( or being a lesbian )... i believe crack is a better solution than seeing her being with a female. ( i dont do yuri).
Running through all the posibilities of cannon MALE characters to ship with rainbow dash - if it somewhat comforts you - i have considered the only option. which is a soarin'- rainbow plot in my fiction. Again, sorry to say soarin's all straight and noble character falls short of starscream for being my choice of partner for her ( i know soarin' -dash people will curse me for this ). Im more suited writing antiheros . and forever will be.but note this , soarin' will be in their plot, and in fact tied closely to their romance.
If you only resort this as an april fool joke , please kindly refrain commenting when you see one ...because thats the basic respect you can give to an artist. It just shows how narrow minded you are.
Im after all not popular here... why do you , of all people , choose to comment on my artwork (or at best , just pm me instead of an open comment to deal with something so simple )? and newsflash... there are a lot of WAY popular arts on starscream- rainbow dash out there. Im just refraining on posting it here in case you ruin them by commenting like that on their frontpage.

Very cool gallery you have going on here; I stopped by to have a browse.
I do have to apologize one more time for being so rude to you earlier... I know I tend to take comments on here a little too seriously sometimes and allow myself to get out of hand and behave in a way that's really quite unbefitting of me, or, really, anybody.
But thanks for taking time to leave some really awesome, thoughtful comments on my other works despite my poor behavior. Please know I'm extremely ashamed and embarrassed and, believe it or not, I try so hard not to act that way when I have the presence of mind to catch myself.
You giving me a second chance to not behave like a little ass was not lost on me and is hugely appreciated.

You would be a good person to write RiffTrax for various movies. I'd love to hear what you thought up for the first few minutes of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."
However, there's one film that I think really deserves the Rifftrax treatment: the 1986 sci-fi film "The Manhattan Project" .

I sincerely apologize for offending you by superimposing the Mystery Science Theater 3000 team over top of a still from Enchanted. I am unsure as to whether the film as a whole has enough material for riffing. I just thought that one particular scene was funny enough for a wisecrack from Joel and the bots.
I would also like to reassure you that I will never incorporate Mystery Science Theater 3000 into any of the following films under any circumstances:
-The Indiana Jones series of films
-Close Encounters Of The Third Kind
-The Sound Of Music
-2001: A Space Odyssey
-It's A Wonderful Life

Don't worry about it. I was only minorly ticked off by that.
I should mention the cheap sequels to the classic Disney movies. I wonder if those would be worthy of the MST3K treatment.
If it's any consolation, Rifftrax (along with Cinematic Titanic) is consider MST3K's spiritual successor. Avatar got a better rating on Metacritc than Enchanted (Enchanted's rating was 75, Avatar's was 83) and look at what happened to Avatar. [link]

Hmm... you may have something utterly brilliant there.... Definitely worth looking into, as some Diz sequels are, well, not what I would politely call "standard Disney quality." And I will leave it at that.
