i was also excited to find another Anita Blake fan that started with the books. Lately everyone I talk to started with the graphic novel and didn't realize there was a book until I said something.

Graphic novel?? Oh, you mean the Trade Paperback? (the collected comics?) I liked the Guilty Pleasures comics, but the novels are so much better, there's more in them, more inner workings of Anita's mind...
The few people I talked to about them all started with the books, a lot of them hate the course they're going now...But me, I rather like it
