basically they find out that the child is actuely moulders and scullys and there is nothing unusual about it...so the last scene is where they are lying down together and thats it!

Yeah it got a bit tedious towards the end...especially with the swap of characters, and the introduction of th enew ones...Moulder made X files...he was the main guy who i enjoyed watching Well the rest is history and im just glad that I have watched the whole thing
