So you are copying real artists work and making out it is yours??? This is called creative theft. Get your own idea's, poses, art and stop ripping people off. swiping is theft, just cos you drew (copied) it doesn't make it yours..

These are not drawings they take hours to create we do not copy I know a fellow artist is sucking people on us and it is not cool. We do base our pieces off other art work but they are Not copied. They are hand cut and layered paper made by us. We will gladly give credit to original artists if you give us the info but these are our own pieces based on famous pieces. That is all I will be saying to each person who this artist socks after us.

Ah, so another artist is sicking people on you... well, that's because you are copying and fraudulently reselling, no other way to put it (now take it like an adult, because things will no doubt get a lot worse)!!
You can put all the time in the world into hand cutting out bits of paper to create these '3-D' pieces (they are not 3-D in the slightest by the way, they are mounted 2-D cutouts!). You are copying the poses created by the original artist, as best you can in your own materials, you might not be tracing, but its still copying!
Create something 100% your own. We (comic artists) put all the time and effort into breaking into comics to have people like you come along and just swipe the work for profit, when we spent years making almost no money learning the trade.
You are not artists, you are opportunists with a skewed sense of morals, and no idea of the definitions (real world, or literal) of 'copying'!

Woah hay now why cant we all be adults here, and not say things like "You are not artists, you are opportunists with a skewed sense of morals". now if you have a complaint just simply state " i don't agree with your artwork, you seem to have the same poses...ect."
But going onto someones site to harass someone is wrong period end of story. it is also not necessary to post hateful messages on their page a simple message would be suffice. if you have not noticed or read Their Journal they are stopping all artwork.

First off... being an adult is all about taking responsibility for your actions, of which, none were taken by this lady at the time I posted, other than to divert accusations through ignorance. I just read the journal (it was posted after my comment), and its still misses the point completely... its not about crediting the original artist. That would be fine if it was simply practice work, or fan art, but its not, this is work being sold of the back of another persons hard work.
And as for not being artists, I stand by that, but its only meant in context to work which is copied. Any work of which they create 100%, or subvert far enough away from any original material (non copyrighted hopefully), then I'll say they were artists for that... but not for reproducing existing images, cutting and mounting them, and then framing them for resale, that sits firmly in the opportunist category in my opinion. Much more entrepreneurial than artistic!!
There's no hate in my message, just fair warning that this sort of action is intolerable, and something encountered on a very regular basis... and which has led to serious problems within the industry.

Because they don't "seem" do have the same poses, they are literally the exact same images printed by Marvel, DC, etc.

Your Comment is unnecessary since what i'm stating in the comment is if you have a comment that is unpleasant or disrespectful to not post it on someones page but message them privately. its not polite or right.
It is also impolite to continually harass someone, even if they are in the wrong.

I'm not harassing anyone. I was just responding to comments I was given. If she wanted to completely stop me from commenting on her page (or anyone else, for that matter), she'd block me and other parties like she blocked Tim Townsend. Who she was pretty damn rude to, by the way. If you want to bring up politeness and pleasantries.
And frankly, it's not polite or right to steal art, but alas.

I have not blocked anyone, not even Tim. I don't block anyone from commenting on anything because everyone has a right to speak. All I ask is that everyone stops harassing us or comenting poorly on our page especially when we have agreed to stop.

Second of all, blocking is the best way to get people to stop commenting you, if you consider it harassment.
Thirdly, why do you respond days after the fact, when you've become irrelevant?

Nope as far as I know no one is blocked I don't believe in blocking people I feel it is rude. And I have things other than my 3D art on here so just because people are commenting on my 3D art they may like our costumes, we were famous for our costumes long before our 3D art. As for not responding I had a convention I was wondering with two new costumes we have made. I do a lot more things than our 3D art, its just we loved doing them.

I'm just sayin', dA isn't going to do anything if you file a harassment report and you don't have the people blocked. For future reference. You can't claim people are harassing you if you keep responding to them and don't prevent them from commenting you to begin with.

In my opinion it is rude, all people view things differently. I will never block anyone unless it is absolutely necessary. I am claiming to report people if they don't stop. Every person I have said to stop posting rude comments have stopped so I have no need to block or report them. If they had continued to be rude and fight I would've blocked them and if I had received any other messages from them I would've taken further steps with DA. I don't like to fight with anyone unless I am pushed to so I won't do anything unless people continue to persist.
