# About me
Aren’t about me sections the worst? I never know where to start. Oh well, here I go…I am Karen.
I am a photographer based out of New London, Connecticut. In 2009 I graduated from the prestigious Hallmark Institute of Photography. The past three years I have focused on wedding and portrait photography… but now it’s time to shift gears and focus (hehe, so many photography puns) on my true passion: photojournalism.
When I’m not out photographing amazing people, I am the Show of Show & Tell. Show & Tell also started off as a simple question, “… do you know you are important?” and has taken off far beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
I am obsessed with zebras. I am an Apple girl. I love to run and exercise. I live for Christ. I love everything Disney. I love my family with all that I am. I love the feeling of laying on the beach, the sun warming my skin, and the relaxing sound of the waves crashing. I love to laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh until my stomach hurts. I love happy tears. I am a photographer, a writer, a public speaker, a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a best friend, a child of God, and that girl that always strives for more.
