No problem, I love your black and white photography. I have a hard time photographing people on the street here, so much so that I just gave up.
I get funny looks, or people scream and shout, because they say i'm infringing their privacy.
It's sometimes hard to get a decent photo when i'm having someone pose instead of it being spontaneous.

wow, i never even got a comment from people for taking their picture...well, i guess i'm pretty fast so most people don't even notice being photographed when I point my camera right up their face
I see that you're using a digicam...i find those way too slow for street. film is the way to go

Yeah, I have a film SLR camera too, but for some reason I get noticed way too soon.

you should always meter the light around you so you have your settings right when you want to take the picture. Then it's only a question of quick focusing (i always prefocus approx. on the distance that i think i'll have to my subject when taking the picture) and pressing the shutter release
