Nice! The texture you used looks great on the Flood parts. Are you going to give it a background?

That is actual Flood skin for the texture. I took parts of the skin and made them into a pattern brush to get the effect.
Oh and yes of course I am going to add a background. I'm using the background to help me shade and make the Spartan's fit into the picture and world around it.

Wow, it's looking really good! I would have apologized for all the small details. I thought it might have been hard to see what was going on in certain areas, but it looks like you got it under control. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it when it's done. Take as long as you need though.

Heh heh, yeah I was having a bit a trouble telling what was armor and what was flood flesh, but I looked at it hard enough and looked at a lot of refs of the armor it was. That helped me big time.
I noticed that your lines were more along the Halo 3 look, so I've been detailing it to fit in the Halo 3 painting looks and detail.
It shouldn't really take me all that long, unless I get lazy and not work on it for a bit. I am having trouble going about the Flood textures and colors. So it's frustrating, but I will manage and look at refs of the Flood and try my best with it. After all it is my first time painting anything with the Flood.

Hmm, the most important part is probably just getting the yellowish color of the Flood right. I looked at some pictures and most of the Flood don't seem to have that slimy look you said you were having a problem with, so I think it would be fine if you just didn't want to add that. As for the textures, I'm sure there's a brush somewhere online that could help with it. What program do you use to color and shade? I can help you find a brush if you need me to.

I use Photoshop CS5. I did look for a few brushes but didn't really find any that I could use. But you want to go look that's fine with me.

I guess I'll go with Geotrix fighting Freakenstein. I'll make them both battle-damaged, but who do you want to win the fight? That should help me determine the poses.

Hmm, well Geo is about 7 feet. Freakenstein is roughly 10 feet tall. So Geo's head should meet up a Freak's chest ( I think).

Sure. As long as the sharpie's not to thick, it should be ok for inking. Or you could just color it without inking at all, whatever you think is best.
