I didn't realize how similar my pseudonym was to that of the Egyptian God, but I was going for that ancient sounding angle.
I kinda bastardized Egyptian roots with something else to make it mean "NOT gold", since Nubia means "Gold", and... I don't want to get into it. >.<

although, im sure he's an exception. if you study biology and become a doctor, you're guaranteed a high salary and a great living, music and illustration are not so guaranteed.

I don't think I have what it takes to be the exception. I might stand out from the spoiled hipsters and other crazies subtly, but the employment isn't guaranteed at all. :/ Even if it's something I've lived for my entire life, to have people like my own dad judge me already for having the mindset of a failure says something about that course of life.
