# About me
A fun-loving, happy-go-lucky kind of soul, Sid is a very friendly ape-catcher, if not sometimes oblivious. The boy rarely has his temper get the best of him, but when he does get furious, watch out.Currently, it seems Sid has no real plans and merely wants to help other catchers with their intentions, but that is subject to change. Either way, it is said that his skills with sword-like weaponry like the stun club is phenomenal and that he's a good person to have on your side.
Current Residence: Currently at home, one with its own laboratory, of which my father made. I hardly ever see that dad of mine though.

Print preference: I don't really know this exactly either... Or, at least, not right now.
Favourite genre of music: I could make a list, but that would take too long.
Favourite photographer: I don't really have one yet.
Favourite style of art: Anime of course.
Operating System: Project Cosmo
MP3 player of choice: The IPod touch. I mean, you can listen to music AND play games with it, how is it NOT awesome?
Shell of choice: I... Kind of... don't know
Wallpaper of choice: Most likely, it has something to do with video games.
Skin of choice: Mine
Favorite cartoon character: I'm not really one to pick favorites though.
Personal Quote: "Come on, everyone needs a little help sometimes!"

Scientist-Aki [2015-03-06 19:54:24 +0000 UTC]
"Sid?" Turning around, she could have sworn she had heard the blue haired teenager's voice just now. Aki was out grocery shopping for a new supply she needed to fill up the refrigerator. Kei and Yumi were growing tired of seeing the same kinds of pudding cups take away the space from what they would usually eat back at the TV Station. Shrugging it off, the scientist motioned her head forward again and resumed to find everything on her list. "It must have been my imagination..." she pondered in thought, keeping her shopping basket close, her free hand formed into a fist and resting in front of her lips.

The Blunette chuckled as he swung his way through the town. the young teen was definitely getting a hang on handling the Monkey Grappler to move around the environment faster. Eventually, the boy decided to take a breather, landing on the nearby sidewalk as he did. He let out a breath with a chuckle as he tried to regain some of the stamina he spent from "flying" through the streets.
As he inspected himself to make sure he didn't lose anything while swinging, he heard the voice familiar scientist from the distance. "Huh?" the boy turned to where he heard the voice, walking towards it curiously. Was it who he thought it was?

Momo the pipo monkey was currently at the Seaside Park. She was sleeping on a tree branch. She had ate a ton of bananas which made her pretty tired, so she decided to rest for a while. Right now she was having a nice dream. She dreamt about the she found a giant banana, and she began to eat it all by herself. Β

"Hurry up slowpokes!" the blunette laughed as he taunted the Porkies that were chasing him. "I've seen hedgehogs move faster than you runts!" The boy ran fast enough to outrun the creatures but made sure he was at least slow enough for the creatures to not lose sight of him. He eventually began to approach a tree and came up with an idea. He took out his Ape Grappler and swung it at a branch. When the gadget began to latch onto it, the boy leaped in the air, hoping that his weight would allow him to propel him high enough to land on said branch. "Please let this work" He simply said as he began his swing.

The boy's previous momentum, added by the thrust given by him swinging on the tree branch, made him rise just enough for a lone monkey to be seen if it weren't for the Ape Catcher being too focused on the coin fodder below to notice her. The boy dropped and swung back from where he ran from, ramming into the foes with a kick as he did. The enemies dropped a random assortment of goodies as they seemed to poof into nothing.

As the blunette pulled the grappler's claw back to him, he walked over to the floating objects, taking them one by one. The boy still seemed clueless about the presence of an ape nearby, despite the sound of one near the very tree he had just grappled onto. "This whole getting coins thing is too easy!" He chuckled, thinking out loud "I wonder why those freaky things always drop them when I kick their butts, though." The boy put a cookie one of the foes dropped in his mouth and began to nibble it. He then got to a nearby tree and leaned on it, looking upwards as he tried to figure out answers to things that occupied his train of thought even before the encounter with those porkies occurred. Namely the situation involving his original stun club, the one that the slender, blue monkey he encountered before still had. Then came the issue involving that psychic monkey, Specter. Clearly he and his "virus" copy were two different evils, despite taking on the same shape, and needed different tactics to effectively take on.

It was Saru Cookie hunting time! After the insane battle against Dark Specter and Specter's weird looking robots, the two best friends scoured all across town, hoping to come across more health restorers before the giant rescue mission. He had recently heard about his two close friends being held in Specter's Base, which left him worried for their safety. They had to train and be properly prepared before. Jimmy had his Stun Club in his right hand, using it to swing wooden crates near the movie theatre with a Spin Attack. "Ha!" >I Planks of wood chips flew around before landing onto the ground. Inside the two crates were more Gold Coins; this caused him to sigh a little. "None in this one either, Pipotchi."
"Po pipo, <:3 (We'll find some soon,)" Pipotchi reassured to the ten year old as he nuzzled his rosy cheek up against his. He was sitting on his left shoulder which made it a lot easier for him. The baby monkey companion placed the palm of his hand flatly in front of the rim of his Advanced Monkey Helmet, acting like it were a visor. He moved his head to the left, then right before looking up at the greyish clouds covering the sun. There were birds flying and cawing at each other, but even they couldn't help them with their search. "Pi?" Suddenly, he perked up and noticed something different. It caused him to point forward with his left hand, using his right to get Jimmy's attention. "Pipo! Pi pipo po! (Jimmy! Look over there!)"
The Licensed Ape Catcher's eyes followed after Pipotchi's frantic pointing. He couldn't believe it. "No way! How did they get here?!" There wasn't a moment too soon. In front of the duo were Porky's and Tomato Bird's. Usually they'd only see these enemies back in the stages they previously went on. "Hang on tight!" From there, Jimmy began to charge at the familiar opponents, quickly getting their attention.

Sid was relaxing on a bench, completely oblivious to how the whole "Saru Cookie" element at the moment. What was going on was completely nuts, but at least he's learned a few things. Virtual worlds, viruses manifested into metaphysical forms and having to fight all of them. When did science get so powerful that literally anything can happen?
Sid soon noticed a few strange animals nearby. He was completely clueless to what they were doing here, but he realized what was going on when a Porky rammed into his face, making him flop off the back of the bench. With a grumble, he took out his Time Club. "Alright, you bozos asked for it!"

Sid lied back on a bench, relaxing after all that had happened back in Manchester. Sentient, metaphysical computer virus copies? Virtual worlds? Psychic monkeys? Giant robots? The trip was unbelievably overwhelming, he was pretty sure he needed to just relax for a few days. Prehaps stay in Canada for once. The whole thing was starting to stress him out a bit, anyways.
With a sigh of relief that all that chaos was over and done with, for now at least, he looked at the monkey grappler he held. It was a recent gift from his father, much like his old stun club, which proved to be much harder to regain than anticipated and his monkey net before it, yet just like it, they were given with his father absent. The more he thought about it, the more he started to worry about his father. Where on earth did he seem to constantly go off to lately? Perhaps the next goal would be to figure out where his dad was, along with figuring out how to effectively protect this Haruka Data thi-
Suddenly, a strange bird abruptly rammed into his face, making the brunette flop out the back of the bench. The boy hurried his way back up, taking his Time Club out when he did. "Okay, whoever did that, you asked for-" the young teen stopped as soon as he saw the attacker; a... tomato with wings? "Okay, that's it, the world has gone completely freaking nuts!"

{{ I just derped out for a moment there, Sid. Why would there be a wooden crate in the Shopping Area?Β I mean, I could have just gotten Jimmy and Pipotchi to buy some more Saru Cookies from the Monkey Mart. I mean... IT'S RIGHT THERE! Sorry if I confused you in anyway. Instead of wanting cookies, they want Gold Coins since they ran out. ;u; Which will perfectly execute the excuse for buying Saru Cookies from the Monkey Mart later on, LOL. }} Jimmy ran as fast as he could and executed a double jump into the air, preparing to hit the Tomato Bird first with his Stun Club. "Take this! ...Sid?!" Oops! Too late. As soon as the ten year old came crashing to the floating enemy, he knocked his blue haired friend down by the head. A terrified scowl escaped the bird's beak once it was taken care of. A single Guided Pellet came out from the outcome and landed straight into the snow. He was toppled over Sid's chest with his own, but slowly rose to his knees, rubbing the back of his head. "Are you okay?" the child asked rather concernedly seeing as though only his left eye was open. Getting to his feet, Jimmy extended a hand down towards his friend and pulled him up, then glared at the Porky's stomping their hooves around. "Let's go!" Moving away from the Ape Catcher, he collected the blue pellet and switched over to his Slingback Shooter. He fired the Guided Pellet at three Porkys and watched how they were blown away instantly. "Yes!" "Pipo! > w < (Good job!)" Pipotchi cheered for his best friend as he then flew away from the two males and collected the prizes from the destroyed enemies. Coming back, he handed Jimmy a Silver Star, Saru Cookie, even an Explosive Pellet. This was rather fun to do, especially with snow covering most of the area they were in. Once this was all over, they should purchase a Ticket from the Monkey Mart! Would they be lucky enough to win some more coins? π: 0 β©: 1

(Pfft, no need to worry! I completely failed to notice the derpage too much, I didn't even question the logic of crates in a shopping mall (This is Ape Escape ofc, I'm pretty sure there are bigger things that throws logic out the window, the fraking fact animals are fused with food for example, but hey, that's what makes it awesome ;v)
The ape catcher looked completely confused as he stared at the creature that attacked him. He wasn't sure if he should beat the tomato juice out of it or just eat the thing. Well... Actually, maybe a taste couldn't-
Wham! Before he could react, another thing he didn't notice prior rammed into him. "Guh, what? Jimmy? What the heck is with everything trying to tackle me today? Seriously! And what the frak are THESE things?!" Before another one of those mutant animals could ram into the boy he swatted it with the Time Club he had out and, as if swinging a bat, swung at it as hard as he could, the impact tossing the foe into a pair of porkies, he would have chuckled with his successful tactics if not for the fact that the attack made the three foes vanish into random items, that simply confused the ape catcher even more. "Okay... Seriously, what is with things getting really freaky lately?

{{ Thank you. ;w; And LOL, what was White Monkey thinking at the time anyway? At least he upgraded to actual robot versions of them in AE3. |D }}
Jimmy collected the items he had won from the baby monkey just before placing him behind his head. It was their usual routine to do this. He glanced back at the blunette while curiously blinking his eyes twice. "Huh? You've never seen these enemies before?" o . o That surely did surprise the boy. But then again, Sid did manage to ask a lot of questions during their battle against Specter and the Dark Trio. Even the Freaky Monkey Five was hard enough for his friend to grasp upon. Should he tell him everything by himself, or have Natalie help out? "Ow!" Being too preoccupied with his thoughts, he allowed a Porky to come forward and kick him. Half of his first Saru Cookie wasted; great. Just great. He glared at the pink swirled-like enemy and fired it away with a normal pellet. "Take that!" >:C
Pipotchi clutched onto the backside of the band-aid wearer's jacket collar, poking his head over his left shoulder to get a better view of the fight. There were destroyed enemies and brand new ones. He decided to take this opportunity to count them all up. Extending his left hand forward, he started to motion it up and down which helped him a lot more. "Pipo! Pipotchi po! D: (Jimmy! There's seven left!)" he announced, bracing himself for when the ten year old would strike again.
"Thanks, Pipotchi!" He switched over to his Magic Punch and held onto the black handles, keeping a good eye on the Porky's, and now Pineapple Finch's. Four of the flying types and three of the swine related ones. Jimmy shifted his light blue eyes over to the teenager with a confident smirk on his face. "These little guys were created by White Monkey. Don't worry, they're not that strong." After his quick explanation, the young child lunged towards the first Pineapple Finch and WHAMMED his large boxing glove into it, forcing it to fall back and release a Saru Cookie. "All right!"

((Oh yeah, about Anime North and stuff, my dad wants to know if you've already ordered a ticket for it yet.))
"Well yeah, I'm clearly not too aware of the more... Odd factors about this whole ape-catchin' thing." Sid sighed, he was hoping this whole asking question thing ended with the bigger apes like Monkey Blue and the physical manifestations of computer viruses. Then again, things were definitely too easy to end with just that. The boy, however, took out his monkey grappler and tossed the latching end at one of the flying enemies. When the device grabbed the foe, he pulled it back and spun it at the ground opponents, ramming it into two of them in the process, the three of them disappeared in a poof soon afterwards, one of them leaving a... Flying cookie? "Ugh, great, things keep getting more freaky."
((I'm going to assume we're implementing every element found in the game along with some of it's logic, meaning the anti-gravity cookies would be a thing. If not I'm sorry ; v ; ))

Jimmy picked up the single cookie he had won from the Pineapple Finch, then handed it over to Pipotchi in order for him to store it for later use. He watched as Sid used his cool gadget against their foes, the same awestruck look he had when it was equipped to take Specter down. With five enemies blown away, two remained. He snapped out of his trance and shot a glare at the two Porky's making their way towards him. The ten year old chuckled over to himself as he too ran over to the swine-like creatures and fired his Magic Punch's boxing glove onto their faces. "I got them!" he exclaimed happily while pumping his left fist into the air, jumping once. When he landed, he couldn't help but witness the blue haired teenager confused about the floating health restorer. "Don't worry, Sid. Just take it!" :D
"Pipo pi! ^ w ^ (You have to keep it safe!)" Pipotchi added to the redhead's statement, waving kindly towards his taller male friend. When he looked around the Shopping Area, it was finally clear from Pineapple Finch's and Porky's. He stood up on the Ape Catcher's head and leaped high into the sky, twirling around for all of their success. "Pipotchi~! (You did it~!)" The orange furred monkey descended back down until he sat comfortably on Jimmy's red hair.

{{ *had a post ready two days ago but accidentally clicked on his Twitter tab with the touch pad and lost it; hence why Jimmy wants his PC back rather than this laptop* }}
He collected his fair share of Gold Coins that spilled out from the enemies, watching as they transformed into Silver Stars: Through a total, it came to forty! Jimmy brought his eyes over to Sid and withdrew his Magic Punch. He marched his way over to his fourteen year old friend and patted his back with his right hand. "Don't worry, nothing will happen. Just take it!" :D the redhead reassured with a confident beam on his face. From there, he took a couple of steps back until he stood next to the fountain. Glancing over his shoulder, he noticed that the Monkey Mart was right behind him. This was the first time that the small building's door was closed, but then again, it was Wintertime and no one would want these cold winds to get inside. Jimmy looked back at his friend, flicking his left thumb over his shoulder and said, "There's the Monkey Mart. Do you want to get a Ticket with me and Pipotchi, Sid?"
"Pipo pipo po! (Each Ticket costs thirty coins!)" Pipotchi cheeped, swinging a hand forward. It wasn't long before he cupped his hands in front of his diaper, moping quietly over to himself. He forgot that not everyone could understand the pipo language. It was like the time where he had hung out with Jake for the entire day. At least he has his best friend here to translate things for himβ Speaking of which, he sat on his knees, waving down at him to get his attention. "Pipotchi pi, pipo? (How many coins do we have now, Jimmy?)" the little primate asked curiously as he cocked his head off to the right slightly, blinking twice.
The boy wearing a band-aid on his nose fished out his savings into his right palm, using his left index to point down at each single one in order to help him count them easily. "Forty!" he confirmed while re-pocketing them into his back pant pocket upon the right. Jimmy turned around and ran towards the Monkey Mart's door, readying to open it. "C'mon, it'll be fun! Pipotchi said that they're each thirty coins."

Sid snagged the floating cookie and looked at it curiously, completely unsure what it did. The blunette began to eat it and in a matter of seconds whatever remaining pain from the previous hit he had endured previously went away, as if the cookie had some form of healing factor. "Oookay, not any less believable than the fact they hover in midair... I think I'm getting used to stuff making no sense." He made his way over to the duo with a smile. "Let me guess, the coins also float in midair?" He chuckled a bit after saying this.

Ape-Boy-Jimmy In reply to Ape-Catcher-Sid [2014-02-16 21:20:36 +0000 UTC]
{{ Late reply is late. I'm so sorry, Sid. ;AAA; }}
"Not just those, but Silver Stars, even Gold Stars!" :D Jimmy exclaimed happily once opening the door for the three of them to enter. The rush of warm air hit his bare skin, leaving him satisfied. He breathed in from his nose, and then exhaled from his mouth. The door was closed nicely after escorting his blue haired friend in before himself. From there, the Ape Catcher marched over to the cashier with a confident smile on his face. "One Ticket, please," he requested politely as usual and scooped out three Gold Stars from his back pant pocket. The young child slid the shiny pieces of change onto the counter, awaiting for his single Ticket to arrive.
The man snatched a single Ticket from his large jar and shook it around before bringing it back over to the dynamic duo. "I haven't seen you two in a while, kids! Who's this? A new recruit from 'yer team of monkey catchers?" he asked with a chuckle as his eyes signaled over to Sid. A brand new face in his Monkey Mart meant more business for him. As he unscrewed the glass jar, he brought it over to Jimmy with his right hand, using his left to gesture the teenager to come forward. "C'mon there, fella! I have a feeling your two buddies here have already told you how much a Ticket is, eh? Thirty each. And if you win..." He shifted his eyes back towards his first pair of customers with a teasing look on his face.
Pipotchi flapped his wings around until he stood over the counter itself. He hopped around like a bunny until reaching the jar and dived both his hands inside with ease. There were nearly hundreds to choose from! It was a shame that all of them were red on the outside, causing them to look the same, but the one folded sheet of paper was always a mystery. "Pipo! (This one!)" the orange furred simian chirped, satisfied with the single Ticket he had chosen from the others resting inside that jar. He spun around in the air before holding onto one side of the paper, waiting for his best friend to take the other. "Pipotchi pi~! >Β β½Β < (I hope we win something~!)"
Jimmy held onto his end of the Ticket, letting out a light laugh from Pipotchi's excitement. "On three, Pipotchi!" Staring at the red folded paper, the two focused their attention solely onto that item and that item only. "One... Two... Three!!" Simultaneously, they opened up their Ticket, only leaving them to gawk. "Yes! We won a Jacket!"

((Duuuuuude, don't worry about Β it, you're busy with work and stuff, take whatever time you need for these awesome posts. ;v; I can be really patient. (Except for the wait for AN, that's something that's driving me nuts as far as waiting goes, but that's something neither of us have control on soooo... Yeah.))
"Wait, what?" He looked at the other male, confused, "Silver Stars? Gold Stars?" The boy went through the opened entrance, thanking him for opening it. As the two approached the cashier and finally realized what he was referring to. In all honesty, that was less weird to him than cookies that literally heal you. He then looked at the man with a smile. "Y-yeah, I am, actually. My name is Sid, Sir. Oh... Um... Wait, I think I might have been given a few of those star thingies from my mom before I got here." He reached into his pocket taking out three stars that seemed to be the same as Jimmy's. "Yep, I think these are the equivalent of thirty coins, right?"

"No...!" Tsukushi carried a ton of books in her arms. They were stacked up enough to hide her face. When she heard a thud, it could have only meant one thing. A book dropped. Where was she going? Back to the Manchester Library to return them. The weight started to become a problem for her to even handle. Her knees bent inwards and they wobbled. Maybe now seemed like the time to panic. It had taken her forever just to get this far! No thanks to a gust of wind knocking it out of her reach. The fourteen year old needed help and fast. Where can I find someone to help me at this time? she asked herself in desperation, resting her forehead over her books, sighing deeply.

Sid made his way through the town, not really to memorize where everything was this time around, but more to just have a harmless walk through this town. He chuckled a bit as he thought to himself what had happened lately. Maybe one or two snags happened, but hey, with all things considered, things as an Ape Cather wasn't too bad. Yeah there was this "Specter" person, yeah there were those freaky clones of people threatening the safety of the entire freaking world, but when you get past all of that, it's pretty fun. But about those things... Yeah... He had no clue about them, and he was bound to find those... Things again soon enough. He needed to prepare, he needed to learn more about-
Before Sid could finish that last thought, he noticed someone struggling with a pile of books. Sid didn't recognize her too much at the angle he was in, so one thought instantly came to mind, a new person to socialize with... Oh, and he couldn't help but... Well... Help her either way. He approached what appeared to be a stranger with a confident smile. "Hey, um, would ya like some help with that?"

Tsukushi removed her forehead from the stack of books, nearly startled by the masculine voice next to her. Or was he in the front? What about the back? Either way, she couldn't see him. A trickle of sweat rolled down to her cheek from how embarrassed she felt. At least her wish came true. "Yes, please!" the teen yelped meekly and looked down to find a new shadow standing by her right side. She shifted all seven books into his hands, then let out a solaced sigh. The Science Geek had been freed from the weight of all those books. Kneeling down, she picked up the novel that had fallen moments before and dusted off the bits of gravel from the sidewalk that formed on the cover. "Good as new," she muttered and held it close to her chest with her left hand.
She wore a sweet smile and giggled lightly. "I'll be guiding you to the Library." Without letting him say anything, the peach haired Ape Catcher pinched her fingers onto his sleeve to drag him along. As they walked together, the first thing she noticed was his height. Was he her age too? A fourteen year old... but was he just a citizen of Manchester. No! "Your accent's a little different... Where are you originally from?" Tsukushi asked politely, leaning her head a little closely to find his face. She didn't even have the time to see what he looked like from the front thanks to the pile of books.

"Actually, I'm from Canada." Sid explained, "See, my dad made this thing that makes... Err... Portals I'm guessing. So I go from place to place with it now since, well, Apes can basically pop out freaking anywhere, right?" He chuckled awkwardly. "You know, it's preaty freaky. All this tech was created because monkeys got their hands one some high-tech hats... Um... You wouldn't happen to know how this mayhem started, do you?"
(I already know what happens in the main 3 games at least, but character knowledge has to be separate to user knowledge to some extent. )

"Canada?" "I've studied many North American accents, but never Canadian. Your country has one of the best agricultural resources in the entire world!"
Tsukushi stood on her toes just by how excited she was to hear that escape his lips. They were both making good progress with getting to the Manchester Library on foot. It was only a couple of blocks away, but at least the conversation kept going. She listened attentively to what he had to ask and lowered her heels back onto the sidewalk so she could walk properly. "Did you say 'portals'...?" the fourteen year old asked, clearly interested. A hypothesis started to run through her mind. Could he be one of us? A Licensed Ape Catcher? Surely, he did fit the type. Strong, kindhearted, even a bit awkward. But she got past that easily. He was a funny boy.
The hand she had been using to clutch onto his rolled up sleeve tightened. She had brought the blue haired male to a complete stop. "We're here!" Tsukushi beamed. "Just be careful. There's a long staircase to go up before we can even get to the Return Box." She went up the first two steps, starting to drag the Canadian up with her.

((Yes I have, actually, the plot is quite odd but I'm going to assume it's either a remake or a prequel. Wait, Yeah, I'm p sure it might be a remake.))
"It does?!" He obliviously asked, "I-Um... Yeah, it does!" with an awkwardly chuckled, pretty sure he sounded kinda dumb just now.
"O-Oh... Yeah, portals... I'm guessing what it basically generates. I'm pretty sure my dad once said a time machine was, at least at one time, an actual thing, so I don't really question the existence of technologically generated, pandimentional rifts... Dang that sounded more desperate to sound smart than I was hoping for." He yelped a bit when he was stopped by Tsukushi and got moderately tense when he heard what she said next. "Wait... L-long staircase?" Before he had a chance to grasp what was going to happen, he was dragged onward and nearly lost his balance already, luckly managing to retain it before he fell over.
