I didn't make the models, but I can tell you how it's done. Basically, you need to do a face extrude on the model, and reverse the normals on the new polygons created by the face extrude.

I was wondering about the Opa Opa model and Chu Chu models from SaSASR. Are you ever thinking of putting those models on workshop? Sorry for asking for those models again. I would just love to have those models again.

Hi ApocHedgie. First off, thanks for making the Sonic models available for download on steamworkshop. However, I am looking into editing these files (I would like to add some clothes on some of the characters) but not sure how to convert the files.
I am using a 3d model program called blender butΒ it dosen't support the mdl files that were found on steam workshop. DO you have any clue on how to do this or is there a program out there that lets you edit mdl files directly? Thanks.Β
