Writers need to be eccentric in whichever way they prefer. It's not hard to be eccentric these days too... I just think that stuck-up people cannot be writers and you seem like a completely not-stuck-up person, so there's that.

There's a difference between art makers and artists. (At least, that's what one of my teachers told me last year.) I think there's also a difference between text typers and writers, to be honest.
