No I have not. I'm not much of a pursuer of physical book ownership. But I have seen info about some of the new characters featured in it.

Carmine is the only one I know of based on the wiki page. And she's a real scumbag. Does a good job at showing off that Hunters by enlarge aren't superheroes but mercenaries. Kinda put things into perspective for Kingdoms like Atlas that focus on their military more than independent Hunters to protect their people.

Carmine is only so-so in my opinion.

Yeah, in Vacuo Huntsmen and Huntresses are apparently Mercenaries.

While in Atlas they are more like soldiers.

Nay. Hunters in general ARE mercenaries by nature and trade. 

Sure, places like Beacon do a better job at instilling the virtues that the best Hunters wish to follow. But there are those who use their power and authority as Hunters either as a means to impose their will upon others in the pursuit of power, to become stronger, and for more other morally questionable actions. 

I highly doubt people like Carmine are a minority in how they use their skills and status as Hunters in such manners as she did. There's no way such a de-regulated system can keep all of the participants in it in-line. 

As most graduates in Atlas Academy are usually encouraged or pressured into joining the military. And in a way there is a sense of logic in that way of thinking for the Atlesians. As pledging your best and brightest warriors into a army career provides more oversight to the ones that won't behave themselves, and gives more opportunities for the ones that want to do their best by those they protect and serve.

Come to think of it, they are indeed mercenaries of a sort.

Of course, since we have seen quite a few examples in Mistral during Volume 6. 

It would be honestly quite difficult. And some of the Huntsmen and Huntresses (like Pyrrha) are looked upon as celebrities.

Actually it's more of pressured. True, but that kind of practice is frowned upon by the other Kingdoms.

Guessing it could come down to how Atlas citizens view the world. From what I can tell they seem to have a attitude of national unity over individuality. Which explains why they show more favor in maintaining a military and putting more oversight into their best warriors over the other Kingdoms via pressuring them into army-based careers. The other Kingdoms I'm guessing holding more favor in using a mixture of Hunters and something akin to National Defense Forces for their larger cities.

That's a possible theory since they are the most high tech and militaristic of the Four Kingdoms.

Aye. Won't deny that. I'm looking forward to see the City of Atlas on screen because of this. Vol 6's ending showing off Atlas as a floating city like it was shown in canon was a very impressive design choice.

Yep~ Again, I will say the only nitpick is that he's not wearing his hat. His lack of his bullet proof vest he wears under his coat is passable, but like with his armor, Dante's stetson was his appearance's trademark item, but I won't hold it against you, your drawings are awesome~!
