# About me

I'm Sarah, known as Catty, username Aravis17 pretty much everywhere (Quizilla, Mibba, Youtube, playlist.com, etc.). I try to use this username on every website I make an account on, but on rare occasions I find it is taken (the Aravis17's on Runescape and Ebay are not me, the imposters!)

I absolutely adore femme metal, and the accompanying growls/screams/grunts that don't clash or take over the song. My favorite bands are Epica, Xandria, Evanescence, Elis, Echoes of Eternity, Krypteria, Lacuna Coil, We Are The Fallen, Midnattsol, and the ones listed under my "Interests" [The Rasmus being the exception to the genre]. I also love the Finnish pop band Indica, the Seattle-based steampunk band Abney Park, and pop in the veins of Adele, Imogen Heap, Jem, and Florence and the Machine. Finishing off the list is Kerli, the Estonian pop singer who describes herself as bubble-goth. :)

I LOVE to write. I'm trying to write seven original stories right now, perhaps to be novels, which is why I won't be uploading them. Publishing companies won't take something that's been previously published, electronic ways included. I did put some of them on Quizilla, but have stopped uploading since, especially because of the reformatting that took place that ruined the site.

I also am obsessed with taking pictures and making backgrounds and blending and pretty much experimenting with Adobe Photoshop, which is why I'm here. When the bug bites me and I make something that surprises even me, I want to share it and get feedback.
