I imagine OG99's motivations to be very simple. He's a robot, so he's just programmed to follow orders, no matter what they are.

False Baku would be doing this for both cash and pleasure. He doesn't need to drain people of happiness, he just does it because it makes him euphoric, and hurts others.

I imagine Duthigdu(name's a little iffy there) to be a little lamprey like creature controlling the hulking puppet body, which needs a constant addition of certain organs to continue to function properly. So Duthigdu is doing it to survive both literally and figuratively.

Hm, I'd be interested in both.

For Undercity, I can already gather a few ideas;

* a villain from further down the line is foreshadowed in a designer drug called Zectin. The drug is popular particularly with young athletes in a futuristic sport of some sort. It strengthens the body, streamlines thought processes, and focuses the mind to an incredible degree. However, using it too long has drastic side effects, including hallucinations, delusional thinking, and rapid ageing. The initial seller of this substance ultimately answers to said later villain.

* A recurring villain in the "Eclipse Entity", a very alien creature that possesses and empowers anyone that holds its container, a Gem. It seems to be a creature devoted to causing ironic demises.

* The heroes repeatedly deal with Morgan Hirath, someone who is not really a heroic individual, nor a villain.

So how strongly would the controls on these Games be? Are they tremendously public? How bad for an athlete would exposed prolonged Zectin use be?

Eclipse smells like an angel! Or he could be whatever you'd like.

The games rules would be kind of lax, like "get to the finish/win the game and don't die".

I'd imagine it'd be horrible, especially on a sentient creature. Since I'm thinking of this as being formatted in episodes, the baddie for this episode could slowly go insane and become more animalistic.

Eclipse is basically an extradimensional force of vengeance, and it really, really likes the Cycle of Revenge, one person's hate giving birth to more hate. Think of it as basically a fallen angel of judgment.

Oh yes, so something like that would definitely attract Zectin-like materials.

I am thinking it, together with focusing the mind, makes people become insanely paranoid and irrationally angry, as the less than desirable effects make themselves evident. The episode baddie eventually just becomes so insane and animalistic, he's put down by Morgan.

Another episode villain I was thinking of was called The Scarred, who is basically a guy with a skull for a face due to a horrible case of experiment gone wrong. Scarred leads a large, well equipped gang of what amounts to Neo-Nazis, who are involved in a lot of really horrible things. The Scarred himself makes heavy use of in-built cybernetic weapons, his favorite seeming to be a missile he can fire out of his arm.

Morgan Hirath is basically a character who is a lot like Metal Gear Solid character Ocelot, but if anything, even more confusing. He seems really murky and not all that good, but he constantly gives hints and advice to the main characters. Yet he all too often seems to be arrayed against them. Most annoying is how it seems regardless what he does, the law cannot catch up with him. While always one step ahead, he does what he does in such an obscure, bizarre way that you won't know right from left, and that's before he starts the philosophy lecture.

That is understandable, and I'll suggest to the other members that the razzing should cease. I suppose it is easy enough to become discouraged with creative endeavours without the added burden of unwanted criticism and spoofs.

Yeah, I feel definite regret in regards to the whole thing, now that I know they expected the card to be cute and fun, too. I had just got so much negative criticism for a long time that my mind was set against all outside people on the net who took such a stance.

uh, yeah, my mom and dad have high end jobs, and I am going to publish my stories some day, so I guess I'm gonna be pretty rich. I do cherish every day I spend in college, each day is a learning experience and I meet new friends daily.
