Thank you for that generous offer! It's funny but the pose I see you in most is one I am working on now. It is you squatting with your legs apart. My piece has the figure sitting on her heels with her back just a little arched. I have her front nearly done but am having trouble understanding the back in this pose and the side profile which would give me the movement and depth of the body. Do you have any of those? You have exactly the figure I am working with. You have a gorgeous face and body for sure and glad you are proud of it! If you do I will give you credit as the model on my site.Β

I haven't really figured out the scale. They are usually about 15" high. I don't plan on posting a video anytime soon however I have explained the process in other comments on the work. It's pretty simple with just an armature covered in aluminum then layers of paper clay. Thanks for the comments about the wolves

I was just looking at the series of pictures done of theriope, and it was struck by a realization. You photographed that piece from various angles, and no matter what angle you shot it from, the piece was just as powerful and just as interesting to look at. And the I went back to your gallery and noticed the same thing about most of your pieces. I was struck by the notion that part of creating a great sculpture is picking a great pose to work from. 2-d artists can get by to a certain extent with a subpar pose because they can identify at least one portion of the pose that has merit. But a sculptor has to make sure EVERY side is considered and has merit. It has raised my already high opinion of your work even higher.
