Haha yes, unfortunately it was only a short stay. I will go back and live there, though, someday. It's great to see another Finland lover lucky you though, being much closer!

Yeah you're right. I really love it and maybe someday i'll live there too. I think pics from Finland are great but you must have visited it to know about what we are talking. It's amazing, at all in Scandinavia....

I rather would take photos in Finland. I love the wide open Landscape. Lapland is very amazing...........
Where do you live in Finland if I am allowed to ask?
I think the long, dark and hard winters in the north are special.
Our mountains are amazing, you're right. Have you ever been in Switzerland?

No I haven't been ever in Switzerland. I live in central part of Finland. The long and dark nights during winter are quite nice but eventually it starts to depress people Most of the people miss the sunlight during winter

I was never there in winter. But the long days in the summer are nice. I was 3 times in Finland. In Rovaniemi, Kuopio, Mikkeli, Savonlinna....amazing.

Oh Kuopio you say? That's where I live I see you had a good stay in Finland, even tho this is a quite expensive country to live. I wish you had gone further way to the north - Rovaniemi is nothing compared to the what lies ahead I wish I could go to the Lapland some day, all the way to the northest point. We don't have big mountains but there are some great arctic hills in Lapland. It is so spooky quiet in there.

Yeah, you're totally right! I really saw a different between Rovaniemi and the south/east of Finland. But in Rovaniemi I didn't found the Lapland I wanted to see. I had a good time there, especially to learn many things about the sami culture. In the north you have this beautiful nature, the silence, the people with their simply, interesting and special way of life. I think it must be wonderful to life there. You woke up in the morning and you know, out there is this beautiful nature. So you are privileged to live in the most beautiful place in the world. I think there are no words to discribe it, you have to see it with your own eyes. By the way: My sister is studying Nordic studies. At the moment she's on a trip with her class, the trip is called "trip to Sámi". At the moment she's in Tromsø, tomorrow she's going to Kautokeino. I think she's a lucky one to have the chance to see all this places.....
And at the end sorry for my english, it's not the best, but I see you understand what I mean.
