XD That's how I started on the site as well. In the summer of 2011, I just got on the site because a lot of my friends were on as well. I didn't tell them about the account because I didn't want them to see my lack of skills (my friends are all really awesome artists), but after a couple months on the site, you start to find your niche and you come across styles and different stuff that you feel like trying out. Mine was photography and I'm sure that your's will come to you soon.

yay, now all you have to do is progress. I recommend that you join some groups that are meant for writers like you. Just find a group that you like and then send a note to them asking if you can join (you don't even have to put anything in the note, just send it, 99.9% of the time, they'll accept you)

that is adorbs. I love harry potter too! I just saw this post on tumblr that said what if the very last line of the deathly hallows was "and then Harry woke up from under the stairs" I would have died if that happened. I would have literally just died.
