Thanks for the favorite!
I really like your MSpaint pictures; it takes a lot of patience to do something that nice with a mouse. It also seems that you're getting better and better with it!
Have a nice day

I really appreciate your adding my pictures to your favourites. That was very nice of you.
You have a lot of potential as an artist, I have no idea how you can use MS Paint though. That is scary. You are good with it, but my memories of that program are nightmarish. Do you prefer to use it, or is it because of the cost of other graphic programs?

Thanks, that's the best comment I received so far. *sob* Too bad I wont be able to be an artist, even if i can, my boss will prolly fire me after a month. You must realize that working with MS Paint is EXTREMELY slow, that's why my gallery's so pathetically small.
The reason I use MS Paint :
- MS Paint is free and simple
- To prove that tools doesnt matter
- To discover the potential of MS Paint
- To be "slightly" different
- To prove that I can
Paint in Windows 98 is slightly different than ME's. In 98, you can freely resize your cursor to any size by pressing "-" or "+", this feature is gone in ME for unknown reason and GREATLY slow down my drawing speed after I switched to ME.

You're welcome. I've been through the employment revolving doors a few times. I actually consider myself to be a writer rather than an artist but I've been around the art scene all my life because my mother is a professional artist. I wish you look with your job, and with your artwork. It is hard to have a chance to do what you want to do sometimes.
Reasons:
- Understandable.
- I think you could lose that argument really easily. Talent is very important, but it is being coded into some programs and hardware these days. Gotta love the antialiased line... unless you are used to getting what you want from freehand anyway, which is me.
- Sarcasm right? No? Okay.
- Understandable.
- Admirable.
Windows.................... ugh. It has its uses. You might like Gimp if you ever get a chance to play with Linux. I recommend at least trying it! Especially compared to MS Paint. Well, I won't criticize it anymore. You do a great job with it. Keep it up and enjoy yourself. I'll be watching!

Actually I'm more of a programmer myself, currently taking the ADCS (Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies) courses, helping my uncle (also a programmer) in his office, modifying his program with Python, so I'm also using Linux, while in his office only.
This MS Paint thing is more like a hobby to me, just to impress friends and show off, hehe. Perhaps I'll try to combine programming and drawing to make something useful someday.
Surprisingly, you didnt bash MS instantly like most of the other Linux users do, which is rare.

I'm actually running a custom VM. I jump back and forth. I'm on Windows right now. ME actually.
I'd like to see what you do with your programming skills to make a useful drawing application of some kind. Yeah, that should definitely be interesting.

After I finished my advanced diploma or degree or master or whateva, hehe.
Btw, what is custom VM? I googled and it's about some paintball guns, is that what you mean?

crimsonmegatron In reply to ArthurHeng [2004-06-27 07:19:25 +0000 UTC]
Uh, no. VM=Virtual Machine. Basically it is a composite environment that will run various OSs simultaneously. Mine will run Windows (various flavours), Linux (various flavours), Solaris, Mac, etc...
It's very useful for cross testing, or just if you use programs that belong with different operating systems and don't want like a half-dozen PCs sitting around your small apartment.
