Ahoy! Long time no message. Except on, erm, Facebook, obviously. Pretty much hating that at the minute, though; everyone posting holiday pictures, I get very jealous. No matter, though, because yesterday Callum and I went to Collectormania. I met Xander from Buffy!

It was special. I also got heaps of posters, including Enchanted and Harry Potter and bloody Mean Girls, so my flat is going to look so hot next time you come and visit.
I have been thinking about Mam's Christmas present a lot lately: have you come up with a good excuse to get her to take the day off yet? I just can't think of anything, but we're probably going to have to do it soon. And I'd rather not say, 'get the sixth off for your Christmas present', because then she might guess, and it would be a tragedy of extremely high proportions. Any ideas? Maybe you could mkae up some thing where she has to come to college to 'sort something out' with you? Pretend you are going to get kicked out for smoking behind the bike sheds, I'm sure she'd believe that.

I went to the dentists today. I have to have a filling done, so I'm pretty much crying. Not least because my dentist is weird and I'm not all that taken with having someone poking about in my mouth with needles, but because it's going to cost thirty squid, which I'd rather spend on enhancing my wand collection, all told. I want to get Lupin's next, I think. A graduation present to myself is in order!

I loved that movie...was actually greeting as well. Granddad and mam loved it too. We spent the whole of Sunday watching it on Macky. I've purchased it on Play for five squiddley-diddley. A bargain, yes? I've also bought 'A I' ('gigolo Joe what do you know?' - legend). I hate Jude Law but he's good in that movie. I love the way he puts the music on with his head...I'm weird though...have you seen that movie or not? I forget.
Get 'Miss Potter' watched! She is actually my idol. She talks to her drawings and stuff...cool.
Went to see 'Made of Honour'...I know 100% crap movie...but I liked it. I like chick flicks what can I say. I don't like that guy though...don't see how he's so lush myself. He ain't all that. But the nachos were nice...yum yum...could eat some again now. Yum.

Don't know if you saw the message after this one - I bought the tickets! £48.75 for yours and your half of Mam's. For Saturday 6th December, at 2.30 - the afternoon showing was cheaper/better tickets, that alright? I'll sort out the train nearer the time, don't worry. Now you just have to make sure she doesn't end up going with Denise or something, and we'll have to find a way to get her to take the weekend off work! You can come and stay with Callum and I on the night, though; should be grand...
Callum is coming. He's a huge Mary fan.
I'm looking forward to the wedding now. Don't know about looking smart, though; tried my trousers on the other day and they look like pantaloons, and I'm wearing the same shirt that I wore to, erm, Danielle's eighteenth. I feel like Ron Weasley going to the Yule Ball, especially because Callum just bought a bunch of new clothes, but I'm pretty damn poor at the minute. People keep nicking my money, it's no good. Hopefully I'll be able to get all my damn tax back soon, though, so I should be rollin' in cheddar. I want to buy a new camera for the Summer.
Had a really nice day today. Can't complain. Got paid from 6 to 6, even though I started at 7 and finished at 4; from 12 o'clock we just sat outside the Uni, watching the kids we were mentoring play rounders. Nice work if you can get it. I'm going to miss my hilarious excuse for a job.

I've been talking about going back to old Disneyland in Paris with my friends. I'm trying to convince them to go at the moment. I hope they do though. I'd like to go back. Do you know if you can request a different hotel from Siesta? Cause Santa Fe kind of smelled weird...and the sheets were damn itchy! I'd LOVE to stay at the big Disney hotel....oh it is B-E-A-utiful ^^ Anywhoo, it'll probably never happen. My friends are incredibly fussy about things and they've been to Florida so Paris will seem rather poop for them. I still love it though.

A shame you didn't like Sweeney Todd. I think I might be looking forward to it a bit too much, though; I love the songs. You can't beat 'A Little Priest', I'm afraid. Tim Burton directing Johnny Depp and HBC in a musical with gore? Throw in a witch and some shiny, shiny accessories and that'd be, like, my favourite film.
The 101 things thing is cool, you make up the tasks yourself: like, I've got 'Write my book' and 'Have my book published' on it, and also 'Save up enough money to be able to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in it's opening year'. Want to come?
You should go to Disneyland with your friends, it wouldn't cost that much. We got upgraded the first time to the Sequoia Lodge, which was nice. The rooms were a bit bigger, and it was right next to Disney Village. When would you be going, anyway? *starts counting pennies*
I haven't got Pinnochio, that's on the list of Platinum DVDs coming out soon; March 2009, I think. Soon by Disney standards, anyway! I'm looking forward to it, I'm a big fan of the Blue Fairy. And Lampwick. Scurry!

I'd like the muppets show on DVD too. It's rather expensive though. I may buy it for my Birthday. I'll have to save up for Disney (if I go). Rach wants to stay in Davey Crockett's Ranch and Carl wants to stay in the New York one. I'd like to stay at one of those as well (it would be nicer than Santa Fe). Mama's going to phone up and ask about it tomorrow (hopefully). Those hotels would be lush though - they have pools and stuff!

Not sure if you have your computer back yet or not, but I thought I'd send you a message anyway, since you've clearly been ignoring me since time began. And, also, since I'm in the library, bored out of my mind, working on an essay which is a disgrace to the human race and an absolute barrage of bollocks. Ah, well. Also also, I'm freezing, so typing this will warm up my fingers so I don't catch pnuemonia and end up all... final scene in The Shining.
Erm... how's it going? I am - evidently - up to my frickin' eye balls in essays. It's getting ridiculous, the ammount of utter tripe I've written lately. I am trying to get it all out of the way for my birthday, though. Callum and I are doing our 'Christmas' then, all on the one day; he's cooking, I'm doing desserts. Also, I have decorated the house, which clearly took me ages and is amazing. We have ghost tinsel! Takes forward planning to have a Spooktacular Christmas tree as awesome as mine. I will try and take some pictures and put them up here. Don't look at them in school, mind; you'll simply be too astonished and won't be able to get on with any work all day. Meh!
How is school going, anyway? Aren't they all pissy about you taking time off to go on holiday? They were horrible to me and Danielle for going to Spain in the week before the October holidays. Nasty pasties, that's what they are. As if anyone ever did any work in school, anyway.

I have! Callum and I went to see a preview the other night; I liked it. It's a little bit different to the book - they changed the ending a bit, which makes sense - but His Dark Materials fans are... insane. The kind of fans who will complain about any minute little detail...
Yeah, I totally came out all, 'Excuse me, where the hell was Kaiser?!', so I'm pretty much just as bad! Watch out for the bear fight, though; it's amazing. It starts off slightly subdued, and I was disappointed, because my own version was extremely violent, but... it ends... well, you'll see. Lots of nervous laughter, anyway.
It was a good film, though. Lee Scoresby is mint; his daemon... you'll cry, it's so brilliant. I'll be expecting some Lee fanart, at the very least.
We should go on a road trip! Wait until you can drive, I will be expecting lifts all the time! Also, if I end up in Edinburgh, it won't be that far away from you, so you will be able to come and see me, like, every weekend... it will be way awesome.
We can make a YouTube video with your camcorder! Yes, no? Genius, I think. I've also been thinking of putting together my Disney zine based on Disneyland, so maybe you'll have to help me with some art and stuff when I get home. Bet you can't wait!

Well Hello ^^
I did rather like Lee and Hester (although she only said like two lines and she was the coolest thing in the film). The bear fight was...yuk! Carl was rather shocked - you could tell. He said he didn't see that coming. The version in my head was totally different. Asriel was clearly an emo in my head, Serifina was cooler (where was her Goose?) and Lyra wasn't so damn evil (although that kid in the film wasn't annoying at all, which was good). Nicole Kidman was...mmmh...wasn't really like the Mrs Coulter in my head either. Shocking it should have been just like the version in my head and then I would of LOVED it!
I was rather dissapointed. It was a bit ('Lord of the Rings'-esk, with the long battle and such). I wanted it to be more like Narnia or Haz Pot. But it was alright. I actually liked Pan the best and Roger was cool - bless him. I was a bit gutted the way they did the Billy and Ratta thing. That could have been such a tear jerker! I suposse I understand why they didn't show him actually being dead and stuff. It didn't even make me cry...and it should of. The bit where they cut Pan was SO sad in the book too...they didn't really pull it off in the film.
I just think it was a bit rushed...a bit rubbish really. I hope the next one is better!

I'm still a bit stuck on Darren's present... it seems a shame to get him an iPod mini if you could give him yours. Also, Creative Zen Stones (the Creative Zen - my MP3 player - version of the shuffle; clearly, a superior product) are cheaper. And better, obviously. Do you think Dad would like one? He is so hard to buy for! Evil. I was thinking of getting him one of those and some speakers, so he could at least use it in his shed. Erm... what do you think?
I suppose there is a wee while until Christmas. I keep telling myself, since I have about a trillion things to do for Uni between now and then. Eep! Three essays and my dissertation; that's, like... 20,000 words. Christ.
I have a day off today; I just got a surprise pay packet from my work at the school uniform shop (I thought I was going to get about £70, but then I convinced myself I'd already been paid; I got £130, which is pretty much awesome, yay!), so I'm going to go and treat myself to some buy one get one free Disney films at Fopp.
