INVITATION - INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PORTRAITS AND CARICATURES
- Cartoonists Association from Romania preparing a bigger exhibition.
- We invite you to participate in this cultural project.
For this you need to send the portrait or caricature of Ion Luca Caragiale ([link] ) and/or Mihai Eminescu ([link] )
- Will be printing a catalog of exhibition. All participants will receive the exhibition catalogue free of charge.
- Digital designs must have 300 dpi resolution and size 21x30 cm or bigger.
- You must send, also, artist photo and a brief biography. They will be printed on the album.

After 15 design test and "stand by", finally the Valis V web site it's online, at the moment only the Story and Characters profiles sections are availables, comming we upload the game system explanation, some images in-game and maybe wallpapers, in the profiles you can see some artwork re-painted and some characters artwork not showed in DA yet.

hey what made you come up with "house of Candy Sushi" ?

I wanted to make a fake animation studio ^^ And after making candy sushi at one of the Ka-Swaa nights I decided that would be an awesome name. So I've got a few animations I want to do using that name, like a princess oblivious cartoon opening -which includes a full on transformers scene of Cellie and Corrie's car

I was browsing through some fellow BYU-er's blogs and ran across hers ^^ She has a great style!
I graduated from BYU awhile ago and I've been studying animation/character design and visual development on my own since then.
I love seeing all the assignments the animation students here post, it's inspiring and majorly helpful
I hope to see some more from you before you head out on your mission

cool! I'm at BYU as well. did you study animation and all that at BYU or did you start after you graduated?

afterwords. I was a Visual Arts major. I mostly focused on drawing portraits but I've always dabbled in costume design and eventually I realized how much I loved creating stories for the characters I was drawing
I found some great stuff on ConceptArt and started learning on my own and with the help of a ConceptArt mentor (who is also a BYU grad). It's hard but super rewarding, I just hope to catch up with all the artist's who started in animation so much sooner than me ^^
