# About me

I like to think that I am a artist / cartoonist. I have done work for various companies including : Fantagraphics, Topps, Bosko Video, and have provided illlustrations for various T-shirt companies & Mens' magazines.

I was inspired at an early age (in the 60's) by the humorous cartoon items produced by "Topps"(the card & sticker co.) such as -"Wacky Packages" , "Flying Things", "Ugly Buttons", etc. , and was in awe of the colorful cover paintings on "MAD" paperback books and Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine. Plastic figures produced by "MARX" called "Nutty MADS", were another influence, as well as about a thousand other things.

Your work makes me happy!!! Wish I had discovered it much much sooner!! I used to cut out notebook sketches and put them on envelopes and inside cards and letters (damn rubber cement!). Wish glue sticks had been invented back then.

I just place the smallest dot of glue (stick) on the backside of the clipping so that they can be removed easily ......I'm constantly rearranging, adding , and subtracting different images.

Thanks Nancy ! I have been obsessively cutting & dissecting anything that I could get my hands on, since I was a very small child (and have never stopped)...TV Guides, Monster Movie advertisements, comic books , etc........then I would carry my treasured clippings around with me everywhere, in a "shoebox".............only now, I no longer carry the shoebox around with me.
