Epic mickey opening!
The music, references. Corey burton as Yen Sid, the animation. Pure classic Disney magic.
References: Alice through the Looking glass book by Lewis Caroll, Steamboat Willie footage, Clock Cleaners footage, Sorecerors Apprentice footage, various pictures of Mickey's adventures, the calander showing the progression of Mickey's cartoons, and probably more I missed.

Definately. Classic Disney magic brought to life. I was especially amazed by the music. It had a "Sorceror's Apprentice" feel.

Really? Considering this game I was expecting it. Not only that but the brooms and buckets have the same design as in Sorceror's Apprentice. Warren wasn't kidding when he wanted almost everything to be from Disney. Amazing attention to detil.

I wasn't surprized the sorceror's apprentice stuff was there, I just didn't expect him to use that song that early on.

True. Also is it just me or was Yensid incredibly detailed for a wii game? They really went in to detail with his skin and everything.

The whole first part, inclusing the room, where Mickey moves, and his animations are just about a 100% recreation of a part from the classic Mickey cartoon "Mickey through the mirror".
Also "It's a Small World" is on the model of the wasteland, which means they might have kept the part where you are going through the ride(Now broken and dangerous) in the dark with the song playing in reverse.
Also tons of more small things.

yeah, the "Mickey through the Mirror" was very familiar so I'm glad they kept it almost spot on with the cartoon, and I am excited for "It's a Small World"... that's going to be amazing

There is going to be a Nintendo power Issue about Epic mickey with "ten pages of exclusive details", which in magazine speak pretty much means, most of what we know with one or 2 new things.
There are 2 new concept arts released, which are less gritty than the opriginals but are still pretty jacked up.

Well there is now a part 2. the Mad Doctor is very grim actually and very true to how he was in the original cartoon. Also on the black board behind him it says "Mickey's Insides".
Also Oswald appears and he's so cute. He is very likeable.

I loved it when Oswald and Mickey saw eachother. I wonder if Mickey even knows who Oswald is. From the look on his face I would say yes.
