The FunFair Princess was walking trought is kingdom. Hopefully she could bring the people joy with her fun fair, but first she needed permission from the royals that were in charge here. She wasn't really tall with her 30 centimeters as she looked around

a 7 ft tall bird man mistakes her for a squirrel and snatches her in his beak and flies off

She quickly acts like a lifeless doll and hopes scared that he would release her

he takes her back to his tree fort and drops her in a pot of boiling water

She then started to scream in her high pithed voice "OUCH GET ME OUT OF HERE PLEASE HELP ME" She kept screaming trying to get out

everyone starts screaming and panicking until one of them bumps the pot and knocks it over, spilling their tasty squirrel stew all over the floor

She looks scared around as she cleans herself and wipes of her tears "w.where am i?"

"IT CAN TALK!!!" yells one of the panicked birdmen. She suddenly finds herself surrounded by a rather large group of feathered freaks with curious eyes. They poke and pry at her and play with her hair which, to be fair, did look a lot like a squirrel's fur. The man who had brought her here carefully picked her up and held her close to his beak as he examined her. "Sorry 'bout that, luv, didn't know ya was a lil person!" He said in a guilty tone.

It's alright... are you uhm a royal?" She asked nervous

"ROYAL??" They all laughed heartily. "No, squirrely, the only royals 'round here are those bastards in the dark scary castle way out there. Here I'll show ya." He expands his long dark wings and pushes off the ground while holding onto the small girl with care. He begins to glide over a large forest of very old trees that look as though they've been dead for years. Off in the distance was an enormous cobblestone wall that almost looked taller than the castle itself. "'Fraid I can't get too close to it, they've been known to shoot us down... real nasty people." He scowls and shakes his head as he begins to turn around.

It took her a half day to finally reach the gates where she was greeted by a burly guard who hadn't noticed her all the way down there. The town inside was bustling with merchants and traders from faraway lands, all trying to sell their goods before nightfall. Just beyond the merchant stalls lie the smooth cobblestone steps that led up to the castle doors which, fortunately, were not being guarded at the time.

She is greeted at the door by a small spider barely taller than her. He is surprised at the sight such a strange visitor and jumps. "Oh! Um, good day! Have you... business with the queen?"

He shuffles around nervously. "Well, I'm afraid she's not too keen on having visitors... unless you were to have an appointment...?"

Uhm no I am sorry, I don't have one yet" She smiled nervous

"Oh dear, um..." He clears his throat and looks around nervously. "I suppose... if it's important... you could see the princess! Please, do come in!" He motions for her to enter and bows his head respectfully.

She bows back and smiles "Thank you sir" She walks into the castle looking around

"Ah, um, right this way, please!" he scuttles ahead towards a very long staircase. "Oh! Goodness me, please forgive me for being so rude, I've completely forgotten to ask your name, miss." He peers down at her with eight worrisome eyes.
