:} Sure I could teach you all the secrets of art that I know and probably make you the best gosh darn pony artist there ever was but- if you don't have the right character down to back it up- I'm afraid all I know is no good to you- see you cant be selfish with these things and there'll be a lot of times where you have to put the desire of others for the character they know and love- above your own desire to make that character completely your own to the point that nopony can even recognize who it is if you hadn't told them out front... You may believe being good at art would set you but the art is nothing if you don't have the quality and care put into your character that people are searching for... You cant just go off and make the character you portray completely alien- you've gotta stick to who THEY truly are- if being them doesn't make you happy- then I don't see why you'd choose to be those characters in the first place- if they're too difficult and complex for you to handle correctly and in a memorable sense to your viewers whom value the quality of a character before they value the art of one- then this sort of thing isn't right for you until you've truly learned how to BE your character and not just you... And what you want from them.
