The cheetah walked alone in the streets, his eyes low and on the floor below him. He had his hood on and a fag between his lips. His expression was blank as he shoved his hands on his pockets as he walked through the empty streets to the other side.

The girl shuffles along the road, head low to the ground. She fumbles around with her hands held close to her chest. Right as she looks up, she runs into a tall figure. She nearly falls over but regains her balance.
"Oh, um, I'm sorry."

As they bumped into each other the cheetah wrapped his arms around her to prevent her from falling." Don't be. " he looks down and sees the girl. He unwrapped his arms around her and took a step back. " it was my fault. Should've looked where I was going. " he slid his hood off and ran his fingers through his hair, fixing it.

"T-Thanks. " She takes a faltered step back. "I wasn't really paying attention either. In my own little world..." Her words slowly become mumbles. "sorry."

He smiles charmingly." I told you, you don't have to be." He takes a small step forward.
"I'm Kenneth, and youre?" The cheetah looked down at the girl with a corner of his mouth up~

She smiles a small, embarrassed smile and looks down at her hands, still clutched tightly to her chest. "I'm Nostariel. Most people call me Nessie, or Ness or something... call me w-whatever you'd like." She holds out a hand to him.
"Nice to meet you, Kenneth."

He does a small chuckle," Nessie is fine with me." He takes her hand, lowering his body
to peck the top of it. " Its a pleasure." He politely lets go of her hand and smiles.

She blushes like a tomato. "O-oh uh. yeah." She giggles a bit.
"So um, what are you doing out here?"

Kenneth puts the fag back between his lips and took a drag." I was headed home..~"
He looks down at her." why are you out her all alone. This place isn't the best for
midnight strolls."

"I was just, aimlessly walking around." she laughs a bit to herself. "Kinda got lost a ways back but just kept walking." her voice hovering over a whisper. "I should really let you go on your way. sorry for... stopping you."

He shook his head slightly," I don't mind at all, but if you want I can walk you home.?"
His eyes looked down into hers and he smiles." Of course only if you want me too~"

Her eyes widen a bit, "That'd be n-nice. I l-live near the ocean, in between the fire kingdom and candy kingdom.. in the g-grasslands." she stands silent for a moment.
"But I really don't want to be a burden."

"Nonsense.~" he pats her head," I'd be happy to walk you home Nessie." He
smiles and flicks the fag on the floor and steps on it." shall we be on our way
then?"

She spins around a couple times trying to point herself in the right direction.
"This way then. I think..." her voice trails off.

He looks down at her for a second then looks up and the sky. " there's really nothing to tell. I mean I'm 19, I live with my sister- well she lives with me. " he laughs quietly to himself. " and a.. Well," he looks down at ness. " I'm not really an open book. " he shrugs and rubs the side of his spotted neck. " what about you? "

She looks up at him and laughs a bit, "Guess we aren't much different."

"Living in my own house that's for sure. Just going around exploring, not adventuring. Just, exploring, seeing the sights you know? But I can't really say I can see myself being held down by a partner or kids or some sort of job." She sighs.. "What about you? Where do you see yourself?"

" Oh well exploring is a really rad experience." Kenneth looks down at
her when she asked him the same question. " well, I'm going to be here,
fat..old and with a bunch of babies. "
