I read on your profile you're from Austria ^__^
When I was a child we used to go on vacation in a small village in Kärnten and we travelled a little around your country: we never managed to reach Wien (I guess I was too small and it would have been a too long travel), but I saw Klagenfurt am Wörthersee and Gratz

I have many wonderful memories connected to your country; actually, till middle school I could speak German quite well, but then I had to choose which language to study during high school and I had to sacrifice German for English: not having spoken German for almost 12 years, I remember very little

One day I must take my German books out of the boxes and start to study it again, I really miss German....in the meantime I listen to Rammstein (I love many kind of music, but also heavy metal XD) I don't understand everything, but I try my best

Ich konnte, aber jetzt ich muss sowohl die Grammatik als auch das Wörterbuch darauen befragen um einen Satz zu konstruieren. Ja, ich kann dich überhaupt verstehen.
Also, it sucks not to have the right letters on my keyboard: no Umlaut and no Scharfes Es (I know it can be substitute by ss but I love it)

Hahaha, I hope there aren't too many mistakes in my German sentences
You know, aside from not remembering many everyday terms, what I didn't learn is the exact use of prepositions, some of the complex verbal forms and the order of the various pieces of a sentence because these are all things we Italians learn during high school...of course, I have then all written in my grammar, I simply need to study them

It would be awesome to try to speak with you here on DA or by e-mail in German!! :glomps:
I'm afraid it will take a long time for me to form a few sentences, but I think actually using German may trigger my memory and make me learn faster ^__^

I have added you to my friends: I think in the beginning we should try to talk in German about simple things through Deviant Notes and see how I'm doing
