A friend in high school actually named me that because his japanese accent was so thick that he couldn't say my real name. lol he felt so bad that he told me he was going to give me a name, and boom, I got 'Asyia'. ^__^ So I go by asyia like everywhere now. I have no clue what it means though.That's the one thing he didnt' tell me, even when I kept poking him for an entire week. He had a tiny, fingertip size bruise on his cheek when I was done lol.
