# About me

About Me:

I love to work with just about anything, I mostly prefer working with ceramics, ink, and pencil. I'm not usually a person to do commisions, but if the mood strikes me, I might do one.. :D

Photography is passion that I absolutley love to do. Usually all of my work is on the fly and spontaneous. There is no reason or rhyme of what I capture. Both myself and my mom are the ones with the artistic eye.. usually why I have some of the better stuff, since my camera is higher quality... 8-P

I'm quite bored as of recently.. so COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN all I ask is a paymet to get the actual art, or tradesies

Current Residence: US

i did not say it was not legal i am just showing a lot of doubt against your capacities as a creator since you have not really created anything and i am making a correlation between your failure to credit and said capacities. i will totally stop commenting though i must say i have no interest in looking at anything else you've done

you still need to credit the work though so you don't get accidentally reported for stealing

No problem! My friends asked me to start working on a manga piece for them so that they could use it as a way to boost their business. I needed a good way to remember drawing in that style and was looking for tutorial reminders. I found yours and loved it so I though that I would watch to see what else you do.

You're very good!

Thanks for the favorite on Tarot - Dangerous Muse. If you liked the sketch, you might like the final finished and colored piece here: [link]

I also love your ink works. I'm not that patient to get that nice texture with it.

Your Welcome! I am making my own oracle deck and was looking at what some other people have done. I love the finished work!

Thanks, as you can see, I have very little patience with it, and so many are not finished. I think I only finished one piece and it isn't up here... don't know why.. anyway, thanks!

Ryuyujin In reply to AuthorAsh [2011-06-20 09:55:52 +0000 UTC]

Thats ambitious. In 5 years I've only managed 3 cards. And because of the space of time the styles of them look to different for them to go together unfortunately. This was the first one. [link] The Hermit. The Moon one you like was actually my second and is my personal favorite of the three. The latest [link] is The Devil. Yes, the people on al three cards belong to original stories of mine. Sad the people on the devil card are the good guys from that story. And I still get highly embarrassed I drew that one. But the point was to push my boundaries of comfort so in that I was successful. Any way, sorry, I ramble. Thank you. I'm glad you liked the finished piece.

Your welcome. And don't feel bad. Ink, next to oil paints, can be some of the toughest stuff to work with on a patience level. Even my art teachers said ink is some of the hardest stuff to work with. But if you relax and don't worry so much about mistakes and such, also some of the most liberating. I don't know though. Maybe I myself just never could relax enough for the medium. I hope you keep working on your art in general though. I'd like to see more.

Well, I managed to do the out line of four of my oracle cards already, I just have to find a way to get them to my other computer so that I can use photoshop and illustrator. I'm not that great at either, so I'm hoping that they turn out somewhat decent.

My death card doesn't tell anything bad, as most would seem like. To me the Death is the end of one adventure and the beginning of another. Such as the Harry Potter quote "Death is but the next great adventure". So, that's what mine is like, nothing dark about it. I have to say that I like the Death one a lot and the Moon was very nice. Trust me, when it comes to embarrassed about art work.. I have to remember about the various pieces scattered and hidden around my room because they are so provocative. I don't think they will ever be shown to others, let alone put up on DA. So, I have my own things too.

Ink and oil are very time consuming. I think that I will eventually finished them, but it will take a long time and for me to have to be bored enough. lol.

Do you happen to do commissions? I love your work, so if you happen to do them, let me know. I don't have really much in the way to pay (like the points) but I'm sure I can draw something for you, or you can use any of my photos as a background for your cards.

Ryuyujin In reply to AuthorAsh [2011-06-24 03:40:47 +0000 UTC]

Must be a common saying. I heard that one in a Peter Pan movie.

Heh. My Death card is actually going to end up kinda... cutesy and dark all at the same time. Whimsicly morbid I think some one called it once when I do that. I have most of the cards thought out. Its the drawing them hard to do. Maybe I'll get another done by Halloween.

I do commissions, generally for monitory sums, not these silly point things. And I'm cheap. A pencil and/or ink sketch is generally about $20. I am also open to art trades. Fair warning, it can take me bloody forever to finish something though.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

AuthorAsh In reply to Ryuyujin [2011-06-25 03:48:28 +0000 UTC]

Haha.. I haven't seen Peter Pan in a very long time. Whimsicly Morbid is an interesting way of putting it.

Do you happen to like fanfiction? I have a story that I'm writing and am curious if you would be willing to do a character sketch for me. I am willing to do an art piece in return. I'm not good at painting, but Pencil and Stippling (like the eagle) are much easier. I'm the same way. It takes me a bit to get through a single piece.

You wouldn't have to color if you don't want to, but just let me know if you want to do a trade. I'm broke, so an art trade will have to work somehow.w
