bueno en primer lugar creo que debo felicitarlo por ese trabajo tan bien logrado. era muy bueno me mate de risa junto con mi hermanita y mi hermano mayor cuando el lo tradujo para nosotras, lo hacias descargado ese tiempo y lo tenia en mi compu para leerlo de vez en cuando para reirme con mi hermanita, pero desafortundamente mi compu murio y todo se borro -.-
incluyendo ese genial comic.

I read your journal on your reasons... Turns out this could have been avoided by just watermarking your art in some sort of way. If you had done this... or not, than why were those art thieves stealing your art for?

If the answer to my problems had been just watermarking my works then I wouldnt resort to put them on storage in the first place. there are thieves who are dumb enough to steal watermarked works and the staff of this site simply doesnt fucking care.
Sorry you dont have the chance to see my works anymore, but please direct your blame at Deviantart dot com for being an unsafe enviroment for artists in the first place.

It's not your fault... I always keep WIP images in the stash, then release the final version later.
While this may not be 100% foolproof to those annoying thieves, I can see how that you won't release them to the public until DA releases a patch. But my work hasn't been stolen at all. I used a camera on my first deviation... (probably if someone were to steal my art, then how can they take the same picture in the same place I took it when they don't know where I live? I took the picture in my own house).
Still, I know this is frustrating that your work kept getting stolen, but your saying that the "thieves who are dumb enough to steal watermarked works" may mean that there's a rare chance of watermarked works getting stolen, but I can see that they will useΒ PhotoshopΒ to remove the watermark.
It's strange that most of the thieves may focus on stealing your work, maybe it's because your art is so close to the original video game artwork in some cases. In fact, Most of the people who post art here have artwork on other sites (and some of the sites are rather too "Mature" for children), and they rarely had their work stolen... However, I still wonder how thisΒ situationΒ got started in the first place...

Its just a matter of luck I suppose. And maybe popularity too, thieves usually steal whatever art pops up on Google or the DA browser (sorted by popularity). I mostly draw fanart and thieves usually target those too.
This is not a thing that has been happening recently tho, its just the Staff has become way more careless about it as time passes. Way back you could report someone who blantantly traced your work. but new politics say that tracing is not consindered "stealing" because they're just using your art as "reference". and no watermark in the world is gonna help me with tracers.

Somehow you are somewhat popular on your corner of the DA community...
But mostly likely that the thieves are your Watchers. It may not be likely to have double crossing friends that steal art.
Because that is just plain betrayal. Try asking your watchers if they had any acknowledge of "stealing" other peoples' works.
While this may not work, some of them can be double crossing...
I have seen people draw sketch commissions for others on many sites like Newgrounds, this site, and on a few inappropriate sites...
But they credit them, most of the time.
It still bewilders me that they only target you often. I have only heard of about five occurrences about other peoples' works being stolen by others. and when they report them, they stop. But when you reported them, they stop, but others still steal. Do you have evidence of the first time your art was stolen...
BTW even when one of your friends made a explanation on not stealing the 2.0 design the annoying thieves still do, should I contact him about the continuous stealing?Β

Listen, I appreciate your help(?) but if the solution to such a massive problem was that simple I wouldnt have removed my art in the first place (not like you're suggesting anything, at this point you're just talking nonsense)
Just because you've seen "only a few" instances of art thievering it doesnt mean that there are not people out there who have to live with the constant struggle of people taking their works without permission. why would I need to show you evidence of my art being stolen??Β

Ok I see you're new on Deviantart so yeah you should know that asking for free art to an artist you dont even know is most of the time considered rude.
Insisting after been told "no" is even more rude, their reasons are none of your bussiness unless you were paying for said work, which you are not.
Take into account that most artists rarely accept to make art for free and if they do, they only offer it to people they're well acquainted to.
So yeah, dont take it personally, but please dont ask me for requests again, if you have so many ideas please consider purchasing commissions.
