if your thinking about the shorts, I changed those for modesty,because I just don't like showing a lot of leg.What were some of the other things, while I did research the character,I admit I haven't watched Gurren and Lagaan.

Not the shorts, The shoes is all I really noticed.
I understand how you could get a cosplay a little wrong if you haven't watched TTGL. xD; I'm a bit of Junkie for that show so yeah.

Yoko has white shoes,Kinda look like high heeled white boots, But they don't have buckles.
And the stockings/legwarmer things are a bit higher up her thigh, But I understand the modesty thing so yeah.

yeah, the boots i bought with two thoughts in mind, side and comfort. I've worn heels to otakon the past two years and by the end of the first day my feet are normally covered in blisters or very sore, The boots I shoes seemed to match lengthwise and had a zipper similar to hers, while I agree they are not white, i figured sometime when I have the spare time I can brush white color into the suede.

I know what you mean. xD; I've had to wear these ...odd japanese shoes for quite a few cosplays. Think Jiraya's shoes from Naruto. It was /b/MURDER//b/. xD;

really i like geta, though the ones I have dount have the huge wedges underneath, they are very small and a bit wider then the wedges Jiraya Used.
