So, the horn is great, but putting it on a headband has made it hard to put under a wig. I wasn't expecting such a fight from it >.> However, despite being challenging, it is extremely, extremely stable.
The wings are a pain to do because of the shape. I saw someone make theirs solid, and that looked good. Mine was hand-glued all the way around the wire base. That was a pain @_@ It looks...ok. The crown was made from leather and is heavy, and I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. Overall...learn from my mistakes and build off of them!

Hhhmmm, have you maybe considered thin, almost see-through string? Like, um... The stretchy kind that would be easily covered with a wig. I'm not sure what your horn is made of, but if you made it hollow it would be super light and very easy to wear.
Wow, that's crazy! My roommate is doing Chrysalis so I have no clue how she's doing the wings, but I'll let her know about all that.

The thin string and hollow horn has already been done, and it seems as though the string kind of smashes hair and kind of ruins the effect of having a horn. I have considered this method and thought about shaping clay around a cone ring sizer, but abandoned this idea for the headband and snaps designs.
