from an emotional standpoint, are you sure you're defending her because you agree with her understanding of the situation? Or are you just defending her because she's your friend? Its hard to say, but you need to understand that she presents the situation as somebody who was offended by the criticism. It doesn't matter what people say about your art. What matters is how you take the criticism and how you intend to improve yourself and your art. Criticism is to let you know how the picture could be better and what you can do to improve your art. In such case, my criticism was to let totalrenji13 know that she won't improve by using bases. Again, how criticism is taken is dependent upon the ego.

Oh yes. please do let your friend know that I find it to be very kind and considerate of her to make her friends fight her battles for her.
