As for me, I've been busy-ish lately. Mostly working and being out more lately. Things are tight money-wise, but it's not so bad. We've found ways to have fun, even as poor people lol
Ugh, Michael (~Miekal ) just sniffed me and was like, "you smell good' and I'm like "ugh, ew. I smell like fuck!" He's so weird :C

thankfully with the 4th of July holiday and all, there's a lot of local festivals and stuff that are either really cheap or free. I was smart enough to spend the $25 for a annual Metro Parks pass that gets me into all the local parks (we have some huge wildlife parks and state recreational areas.) I spent an extra $10 to get the state-wide pass, so I think maybe we'll go the the old Belle Isle in Detroit this weekend or something and take some photos. A photo trip to Stoney Creek park to see the ruins in the summer season or going to Detroit for some photography stuff is fun and free.
If you have a camera, maybe that could be something fun to do for you, too. I'm sure LA has some really nifty stuff that would make for some awesome photos. And it's a good way to add some cool stuff to your DA.

Even just having a cheap digi cam and using it to take pics of interesting things works really well. Tae and Gabe recently made a stock account, mostly just with a lot of cool textures from old walls in the farmhouse and different pics of cracks in sidewalk, plants, chipped paint, etc. Anything that looks cool, take a photo of it. You can make a separate folder in your gallery for photos, too. Or even another folder for stock images that people can use when they make artwork (just be sure to add that they have to credit you if they use it, y'know?) It's something cheap to do and can be really fun.
One of our other favorite places to take photos is out in nature-y areas, by water/lakes/etc., in downtown areas or in cemeteries. There's a lot of really cool things to take photos of all around, though. Even the sky. Photos of the sky are always really cool to see because it changes to much! Taking a picture once a day of the same skyline at the same time every evening for a week, no two will be the same. It's so cool to put them together and see a week's worth of the horizon's changes.
