Hi babyphat, I saw all that commotion going on in the comments section of that artwork and I'm a friend of those in the section. I have to say you were in your own rights giving your honest criticism and it was kind of you to point out certain things Star may have missed in your critique. It shows you have a great appreciation and respect for good art and believe everyone has room for improvement! I will give Them all the benifit of the doubt and say people tend to get defensive of their works containing Ocs they really care for. It's kind of psychological. That's why it's a dangerous game posting an oc on the Internet. I'm not here taking sides but just showing concern for drama I don't wish to happen. Gorillaz has lost many great people due to drama, and many years back had enough it. So in your own case, just ignore them and pretend they don't exist! (Well you're smarter than me and probably planned on doing that! XD) but I hope everything dies down and no one becomes enemies out of this!

It was all a big misunderstanding! Someone stepped in and explained how old the fic chapters were and wanted me to give their new chapters a try before giving more feedback. And yes, I do know how risky it is putting your OCs out, and how damaging it can be to an artist when people tear them apart. So I was trying to approach and give her what I thought she should work on to make it more interesting.
And no hun lol I don't believe I'm smarter than you. We all have to learn and start somewhere
I'm trying to calm down people now who came across your friend's lashings so that it CAN die down. They keep boiling it back up even though Star hid the comments

Yea I was reading Star's story too and it was really nice. I knew you weren't trying to be a dick, and gogorillazgone was acting so damn immature I wasΒ embarrassed to read those long comments she wrote.This is why nobody wants to take OCs serious anymore :/ They all think we act hostile and rabidΒ like that but we don't! Some of us want to make really good characters!

And well, for the most part, it's over now. She blocked me, and I'm no longer worried about stressing out what I was even saying lol I was done before she even blocked me when she started to put words in my mouth.
I usually don't for anyone, but I've blocked her from commenting here again; her friends are worried about trolls coming by and screenshoting her behavior to use on sites such as Encyclopedia Dramatica, which can in fact harm the view of the Gorillaz OC fandom; a girl sent me a link to where she screenshotted gogorillazgone's attacks and posted them on Tumblr yesterday, and the responses haven't been looking too good. To be honest, I couldn't care less about her embarrassing herself on the internet since she doesn't speak for me or my part in liking Gorillaz, but because her friends we're really understanding and nice, I'll try to convince that user to remove the images.Β (though I do love my Bitch Badge of Honor).
More of Star's friends, Luna and articstarflower have been coming by to talk about it and they're really cool about the whole thing, so it's okay.Β
