Well maybe if you want to do this, they could wear character shaped raincoats like Ash could have a Pikachu raincoat, Misty can have either an Azurill or Togepi raincoat, May can have either a Skitty, Torchic or Beautifly raincoat, Drew's can be plain or whatever pokemon he has, Tai can have an Agumon raincoat and Sora can have a Biyomon raincoat. That's up to you if you want. If not, then go with what you're thinking of right now.
