if you want something easy to use you might want to try a mono pod,It looks like a walking stick with a an adaptor on the top. If liberty camera is still open down town, try them you might have to order online
but you can go to wal mart or a ritz /wolf camera and pick up a tri pod

actually the column pics were a minor failure. I missed the low level clouds earlier in the night (no camera with me). I think the pics would have been better or at least more emphasized with a background sky. Thanks for the comments though.

yeah that emtering thing should work thats what ive been doing with the blad and seems to work fine make sure its set on 400 iso and turnt the lense to the 50mm notch and you should be fine
