I read in your profile that you love all miyazaki's movies.. How awesome, those are my favorite animations also. Spirited away is by far the best animation i ever seen and maybe the best movie in general. I saw Laputa last week, also by studio Gibli. I enjoyed it alot, it was funny to see early elements in the movie that are also present, but perfected in Spirited Away. I have yet to see Howl's moving castle. Is it worth it?

BahamutReborn In reply to AloneInTheDark- [2005-11-27 04:21:05 +0000 UTC]

But all means, any movie produced by Miyazki is always worth it. Howl's Moving Castle is no excepetion, the fluidity of the animation is extremely well-done. This film also sports an very incredible musical sondtrack though I wouldn't say it was as deep as his other films, neverless the story is well played.

Glad to hear its part of your interest, ever since I saw "Kiki's Delivery Service" (my favorite of his films) I've been hooked. Spirited Away was yet another incredible film. But, I'm sure we had this talk before regarding No-face.

Similariy, I haven't seen Laputa but hope to find a copy one day Stay well man.

Not Architectural History... Wanna know the divisions??? *deep sigh* Here we go:

Pre-Design
General Structures
Lateral Forces
Mechanical & Electrical Systems
Building Design/Materials and Methods
Construction Documents & Services
Site Planning
Building Planning
Building Technology

There's one more for California - Professional Practice I think.

I'm starting with Lateral Forces...

lol, I was thinking of making a halloween pic, but it's not gonna happen. Too busy and I want to work on personal artwork too.

Gah... I won't be active on DA (submission-wise) anymore I think. *sigh* Back when I was in school, I had all the time. But now...

hmm, I'm sorry to hear that. I know what you mean, that as life continous to unravel, so do the present ravels as memories. I can only imagine how many friends, good times, and laughs you made here on deviantart. For me, I believe in "cherish your time"as it leads to another quote... "All good things must come to an end". Hey at least you'll still be around, though they'll be many who will miss your artworks.

That is because I have yet to buy the Canon, I put it there as a constant reminder to work hard. I have been saving up for it for about two months now (slowly putting away any extra money I have after bills, groceries, school books, et cetera).

The day will come, and until then, I will continue practicing with my shit 3.0 MP camera. : )

BahamutReborn In reply to MystWilliams [2005-07-27 10:42:08 +0000 UTC]

Heh, well.. to speak the truth I haven't done much progress in music. I've been working on releasing a (very short) flash movie. It will be what I would like to call.. "Effects Study". Lighting and fire for the most part. Pointless perhaps, but I enjoy doing them for reasons unknown.

Ah, well strangely enough, my computer haywired again resulting in the loss of all my reworked projects both music and flash alike. I'll just have to try something new to get my mind off my previous stuff. Another reason to invest in a Apple in the future. Life is definitely random.

I listened to your in progess work! Very niiiice... you composed the whole bit? I could never grasp how one begins to do such things. But man, I like it. It's very waltz-y and light. It can also go well as a 'in town' music in an RPG. Like that town in FF9 where the auction place was (I forgot the name of it ^_^"). Keep at it man

BahamutReborn In reply to indiochink [2005-06-24 12:16:16 +0000 UTC]

I'm very thrilled to hear your comments Joyce. Yeah, it does have a waltz feeling to it, and I'm suprised to hear that it could set in a RPG.

Thank you again Joyce, I'll definitely keep at it.

It's great to know a music person, seriously. My bro and I were talking about making a game once (loooong before) and we had a problem on how we're going to find a music person. lol, this just reminded me of that

BahamutReborn In reply to indiochink [2005-06-26 06:23:33 +0000 UTC]

heh, very cool! The funny thing is, me and some friends (many years back) also were thinking on a game and they wanted me to do the music. But I still, don't have much idea on how you, and many artist, create those fascinating artworks. Well! I'm still looking to where Architecture/Music will take me.

Afterall, there will be always more to learn.

I dont beleive i ever did ask before, but what musical programs do you primarily use? I just got my new computer, and i am ready to go out and buy the proper gear to hook up my keyboard... but i cant decide on a program (i am oblivious to digital music etc.)... i could use suggestions if you would. : )

Thanks.
