how do you do your style of shading btw, I really like it c:

I guess it's a few layers! the first layer of shading is a darker color of the background (in this case a purplish color) set on 70% opacity, then I erase everywhere the light would hit. after that I merge the layers and do another multiply layer of the same color for the harsh/darker shadows. merge, then another layer with white on Overlay for the sharper highlights, then merge and another layer of luminosity on 95% for the eye and hair shines!
