mm, I saw it. I liked it. The plot was kinda iffy at times. If I hadnt read the book I probably would have been really confused, the animation was incredible though.

I concur. As always, the animation was completely awesome. However...um...the blob men? What was that? And I have to say that even though I'd read the book I was still kind of like "Whaaaaa?" the first time I saw it. They talk about Miyazaki taking liberties with the plot--well, I guess he really did...(the whole Suliman is female/evil was a bit...odd.)
