Your work is amazing, especially your vehicles designs!
I hope you keep up with learning ZBrush. I can't wait to see what you come up with using ZBrush. As for myself, I'll prob continue learning ZBrush through online courses as they have more advance tranning and are cheaper than taking a regular class.

Yo Joe!
It's a start. Like your pics man.
Things are ok. What about you? Super busy since Feb on Total Recal. Feel stressed today. I decided to paint part of a robot factory. Should've just used the old pencil!-save a lot of grief! Still find sketching the fastest way to design things.-..just venting!!!
Cheerio dude,
B-Bart!

hoping today was a better day for ya buddy
Total Recal? the movie? more info plz!
funny you find pencil the fastest way-I like photoshop since i can cut n paste, resize and erase fearlessly
I'm good, REALLY busy atm but I'm loving it!
freelance is more my style, the 9-5 jobs kill my spirit

Oh I got over that last hump man.
I have to say for somethings, like whwere I'm figuring out intricacies of a design (both functional and aesthetic), i prefer pencil, weather loose or tighter. Sometimes I prefer to design in photoshop. it depends on the specifics of the subject.
I don't know, maybe it's my ID background, or just that I've spent most of my life using non-digital methods to create things.
Oh yah, it's a remake (of course) of the original Total Recall feature film. Biggest film production to hit Toronto to date.-There's no mars in it though. All on earth in a post apocalyptic futur. Can't say too much about it, they'll spank me.
Good U busy, & lovin it man! -Free lance is where it's at . being chained to a company can be like workin for vampires.

Eh Vince,
Going ok. Did a little antarctic base illustration last week. Nothing right now. Been working on an old gundam model that going detail crazy on! Feelling a bit uninspired at the moment to draw or paint.

Bartoleum In reply to kidchuckle [2009-11-25 18:21:04 +0000 UTC]
My models are mainly plastic kits that I usually detail up. Some are scratchbuilds, also using plastic ( sheet styrene, Blue Foam, epoxy, Polyester resin, Fiberglass). -have done some human figure sculpting and creature stuff (long time ago).

kidchuckle In reply to Bartoleum [2009-11-25 18:30:01 +0000 UTC]
dud you should totally post those up... especially the creature stuff!
do you still do a lot of sculpting now?
π: 0 β©: 1
Bartoleum In reply to kidchuckle [2009-12-02 23:53:43 +0000 UTC]
I haven't sculpted anything for a few years now. And the creatures are long gone except for an unfinished Deinonichus(a dinosaur) from my early OCAD days.
