I'll just tell you one of those stories through here. 

Let me tell you... that these things I've lived through, are on a whole NEW LEVEL.. 

So where do I start..?

I'm gonna start by telling you a little bit about me, so you can have a basic idea of the situation.

I'll call this little story THE WRITE-UP

So, I got a new job as a Security Officer at the Orlando Premium outlets at the very beginning of January.

I've actually had two other Security jobs before this one... so I had a basic understanding of how to do security.. but not a full year of experience.

Those other two jobs obviously didn't work out, I got fired from one of them, and I quit the one right before this one...

Anyway; when I was new.. I was shy and awkward.. I didn't really know what was going on around me.... I very slowly started to catch on.

I slowly learned the duties of the job and the tasks and stuff. While at the same time I also started to learn who my Supervisors and bosses where.

I started to make friends with the coworkers and such.

I'm gonna share this picture here .. just so you can have a visual of the place where I work.. in the heat of Orlando:

So, this story is mainly about my bosses who had given me a WRITE-UP for absolutely no reason..

Now.... the way management works in my job is;

we have the NUMBER 1 manager who can hire and fire whoever he wants.. we'll call him "KING" for the sake of this story..

I barely see "KING", he always leaves when I get to work.. I think he works morning shifts... but I almost NEVER see him.

Underneath "KING" , we have the "Assistant Director" who can make the schedules and write people up and make reports and such, he works very closely with "KING".

He works one-on-one with KING.. or he takes care of things if KING is not there.

He's actually NUMBER 2 in the rank, but we'll actually call him "Harry Potter" for the sake of this story.

Underneath "Harry Potter" we have the "Supervisors" the Supervisors are a lot like "Teachers".. they're like the "Captains of the ship". These "Supervisors" will basically order us around and babysit us. They will take care of things, if things get out of hand and such.

There are about 6 Supervisors AKA "Teachers" AKA "Captains" for all the shifts.

We have morning shift from 8AM- 4PM

Afternoon shift from 4PM- 12AM

And finally overnight shift from 12AM- 8AM

AND IT REPEATS LIKE A CYCLE

BASICALLY we all relieve each-other.. for example: Once the overnight people hit 8AM in the morning, the morning people come in and take over until 4PM... etc

My "Teacher" A.K.A "Supervisor". We'll call him "Angel Guy"

I see him every single day except for the two days he's OFF

The second "Teacher" or "Substitute teacher" .. we'll call him "Robocop"  

I see him once a week or twice a week cause he takes over when the "Angel guy" is OFF

The third "Teacher" or also "Substitute teacher".. we'll call him "Boss-Battle"  cause he's the meanest of all the supervisors.

I barely even see him.. cause he's not supposed to be for any of my work-days.. but I do work with him occasionally.

The fourth "Trainee -Supervisor" I see a lot .. we'll call him "Weed Guy"   I see him all the time.. he's more of a "trainee".. he's being trained to be a supervisor.. or occasionally takes over for when the real supervisors aren't available.

There are about 2 other Supervisors ..AKA "Teachers.. AKA "Captains".. but they're irrelevant cause they take over on the overnight shift.

I NEVER see them

And finally, underneath the "KING", underneath the "Harry Potter",  and underneath the "Supervisors"..

There's "us".

The regular Security Officers who get paid minimum wage.. and are basically just there for SHOW.

We are the ones underneath everyone on the pyramid.

Alright cool! 

I'll tell you the reason for why I call them those nick-names there.

The truth is that I call them "those literal nick-names" there in reality with my sister and friends at work.  XD XD XD

but I'll tell you WHY later on in this story.

So back to the story; THE WRITE-UP

During the first 2 or 3 weeks of me being the "new girl" in this new Security Job, I was still being trained on several things by the "Supervisors".

I didn't know several things, I also didn't know all the rules and regulations.

I was told many of the rules, or ALL of the rules at the very beginning of the job.. but I wasn't gonna remember all of it, all at once.

So, there was a thing or two I had to ask about, to the coworkers or Supervisors when I actually started working.

In other words; I wasn't gonna memorize all the RULES and WORKPLACE REGULATIONS, from that one tiny packet that I had read once, in that first day of work.  Obviously nobody has time for that... most people just read the packet (forget about it) and learn all the rules within working in the job itself.

One of those days of me being the "new girl" there...

ROBOCOP; MY SUBSTITUTE TEACHER, who becomes captain of the crew when my teacher is OFF....

He told me that one of the rules is: " To take the 30 minute break inside the office".

So basically ; I would have to eat and chill inside that tiny office with all those men. 

Although I "DID" listen to him and followed the rules even if I didn't like it  , cause I'm not a rule-breaker, and also I was trying to prove myself a good coworker at the same time.

But I took it onto my own hands to split the break-time in half so I can at least use the bathroom or buy some snack to eat.. or something...

I took at least those first 15 minutes for myself.

So I would set a timer for 15 minutes and "DO WHAT I PLEASE"  and when the timer was up, I'd run back into the office to take the rest of the 15 minutes in there like I'm "supposed to".

My teacher "The Angel guy" and my substitute teacher "Robocop" ..

they understood this..  and they would never tell anybody anything.. as long as they made a presence in that office, or if they would somewhat show up in that office.

One day,  something kind of strange happened.

I was still pretty new,...  it was still during my first 2-3 weeks of me being the "new girl" in that Security Job.

That day.. it was raining and "ROBOCOP" was the Supervisor.

ROBOCOP tells me; "that I could take my break", when I saw him in the Food Court one of those moments.

So I respond;  "right now?" ...

and ROBOCOP answers with his ghetto- new-yorker- boston accent;  " Yeah !"

So I go to the office directly that one day,  since ROBOCOP wasn't there, and that means I could be all alone in there and chill.

Most of the time I do go elsewhere for those first 15 minutes like I said~

but this time I could be in that office all alone and not have to sit with someone awkwardly in there.

So, once I arrived at the office and I had opened the office door.. I noticed that the lights were "off".

On top of that; I didn't know where the switch was.

So I was like;  "Now what".. "What do I do?"

Also; to point it out:

In my job we all use walkie-talkies at all times.. and we have to inform the supervisor about anything we do, or anywhere we go.

And even though I had my walkie-talkie on me.. and I could've asked for help through the microphone on that walkie-talkie..

I didn't want to embarrass myself by asking   "oh ROBOCOP I dont know where the light switch is at, in the office"  

That would've been pathetic!

So therefore; I decide to not go inside that tiny dark office in the middle of the night shift all alone..

and I decide to take those first 15 minutes for myself since I couldn't even go into the office at that point.

I had no choice.

Now...... since it was raining that night. I didn't want to be somewhere were I could get easily wet,  like "out on the open".

And since these are the OUTLETS they do have some roof to cover up.

So, I decide to go into the OUTLETS again where the people are all walking around, and I take a seat at a table of a COOKIE RESTAURANT that was under a roof and was also near the office. My hair was kind of wet and so I take off my job hat and wear the hoodie of the uniform jacket.

And I'm like;   " alright! this is where I'm gonna take my break and chill!"

So, I start to enjoy my break there at that outdoor "secret" table... I start playing on my phone and minding my own business.

NOW HERE IS WHERE THE WEIRD PART HAPPENS:

I didn't even take 10 minutes sitting there on my break, and somehow "ROBOCOP" magically found me there!

He literally appeared out of nowhere! I don't even know how he noticed me since that table was in a darker/secret area!

This one "ROBOCOP" guy he had walked up to me and looked down on me sitting there..

He says "What are you doing here?"

And I explain to him;  "that I'm taking my break there"

And he looked concerned at first, but then he got all serious

So then he starts nagging about how "I can't be doing that, and that I have to take my break in the office... blah blah blah"

Then I start explaining about "the lights being off, and me not knowing where the switch was"

Then finally he says "ok well for the future, don't do it again"

So he was basically "lowkey" forgiving me , or not punishing me.

That was the first day.. cause THE WRITE UP happened the following day..........................,,,,
