Born in 1976, Benoit Behydezell has had a passion for heraldry and illumination since a very early age. He has studied at the Institut Supérieur Européen de L'Enluminure et du Manuscrit, in Angers, France, graduating in 2000. He presently resides in Nantes. His chosen mediums are gouache natural pigments, gold and silver leaf on parchment or paper. His art is often based on the Carolingian, Romanesque and Gothic styles which are his favourites.# Comments
