Favorite visual artist: There are a number of artists I admire for their attention to detail or their ability to express with freedom.
Favorite movies: I have so many favorites :) Basically, anything with action, mystery, far off lands or fairytales.
Favorite bands / musical artists: Lifehouse, Tenth Avenue North, Kutless, Matthew West, Gipsy Kings, Il Divo, Josh Groban, Michael Buble
Favorite books: Generally, something from the likes of classics or mystery.
Favorite writers: William Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti
Tools of the Trade: Ink, graphite pencils, oil piants, arcrylic paints, thread, needles, fabric
Other Interests: Drawing, painting, reading, sewing, cooking

# About me

I've always loved drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. As a child, I would continually ask my mother for paper so I could draw and color. It seems as if our house could never keep enough paper for me. Over time my mother found ways for me to keep pursuing art, i.e. she had me enter into my school's art competitions or she give me projects to do and turn in as part of my class assignments.

For the most part, I grew up as a self taught artist. However, I have received formal training in art once I started to attend college. Right now I am still working on my undergrad degree in visual arts. Hopefully I'll be able to further my education in art. But if not, then I will do my own studies. My dream is to become either an illustrator or a traditional artist.

Painting and drawing is very much a part of who I am. Most of my days are spent in doing sketches or trying to find new ideas for projects. I will not feel at ease unless I have my hands and mind in a project.
