You've earned yourself a lurker for your Captain Hamlish comic. He reminds me of Tom Baker's Doctor and one particular episode, for which I can't remember the name or which season, but it was an old one. It involved a space yatch race and the winner won The Enlightenment.

I don't really know where Captain Hamish came from, though I suspect I did haveTom Baker (who I adored as the Doctor) and David Bowie somewhere in the mix!
