I've been struggling with digital painting for the longest now,
and been wanting to draw a destroyed research laboratory landscape with rain coming in from the broken windows.
I just want to know, how do I go about doing it. I have the sketch and even the mood board, it's the painting itself that's the problem.
Any ideas?

Well it's rather difficult to know how to help you since i don't know where you're at. The key to painting is understanding light. How does light affect the environnement.
If you want you can message me on facebook and send me picture of your mood board sketch and your attempts to paint it. Maybe i could have a better idea how to help you then.

Your artist style remind me of Édouard Manet and Vincent van Gogh's but your coloring is a way much more vivid and richer in colors. According to your artworks in your gallery, it seems like you are making comics. However, if you continue with the style and coloring like what you do now, you are going to raise all standards for the whole comic industry.

I really like your prediction of the future haha. But you're right i love comics and i love classical and modern art just as much. I honestly don't know yet were i'm going, but comics is something i would like to do. so every once in a while i try to see how managable it would be. But it's really hard. Every time i realise just how hard it is to actually do comics if i want to retain my way of painting and do it in a reasonable time frame. But that is my goal. I'm not sure how realistic it is, but i think that doesn't matter.
That being said, there are already monsters in the comic industry. I'm more familiar with the European bd of course, so i'm not as much aware of the comic book industry in america. What i like in europe is or at least it used to be the attention to details and intricate artworks. But storytelling wise i like the way mangas lay down a story slowly with time taken to really put in the mood in the small things. I like epic storys like everyone else, but i really love way more the simple relationships between people. And that takes time to develop. That's really the hurdle i'm facing because. Manga storytelling requires very fast turnaround and i'm really slow if i also want my art to be on top.
But time will tell, for now i'll just do my best.

Hey do you mean often asked questions?
I don't have one, but i don't mind answering your questions as long as it's not something to vague like. How do i learn to paint. If i can help, i'll try. otherwise well i just tell you i don't know. You can also sent me a note if you prefer. But feel free to ask away.

Yes, yes.
Well I was honestly curious about your education since you're from Luxemburg, but I get that it might be too personal question.
And maybe what influence you the most, do you read books... that kind of thing.
I really admire your works, they're great and really inspiring c:

Well i gladly talk about it. If you don't mind me writing back in a note that way we can have a conversation and it might be more interesting and not clutter the comment section.

Bonne continuation, camarade !
