Huh... I guess I was fulfilled emotionally by the LOST finale, I was bawling my eyes out and it seemed so poignant, but I really, really wish they'd answered more questions. I get it that it's not about the questions anymore, but it was for a hell of a long time, and by changing that in the end it's like they changed the whole meaning of the show.

Ahhhh Emma!

I feel bad because I missed quite a few episodes leading up to the finale, so I recorded those and am catching up on all of them now, even though I've already seen the last episode, haha.
The last season did change the entire meaning of the show! Not only were they killing everyone off, but it lost the meaning it had to it in the first few seasons. Maybe that's why I still love the first, because it had a true point to it and was the most unique. Well that, and Charlie was still alive.
It was on for what, 6...7 years or so? 6 I think?

Six years! Wow...

I guess the point of the show where I kind of stopped caring so much was when they killed off Daniel Faraday. I LOVED HIM. He was the only one that actually had any answers, and he got freakin JIPPED in the finale, too! Plus, they lied and said he would still be in six episodes in the final season. He was only in one. And he was different. Made me sad.

The first season was like the best season of TV I've ever watched, except maybe for the first season of Heroes. But now both Heroes and LOST are gone! What am I going to watch now?!

I gave up on the show after they killed Charlie. Because HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DIE.
I wasn't really a big fan of the whole 'we're in the 1970s now so, no, I don't know how to explain it.' It only made me more confused.
And the whole Juliet and Sawyer thing. What happened to the Jack Kate Sawyer love triangle? That just amused me and created more drama. And made Jack more angsty. Ha.
Daniel was amazing though.

Hmm... that's a good question. They are no other shows like it, so what to watch?

I've started to watch Dexter, the show about an undercover serial killer working with the Miami police force as a blood spatter analyst. It's really, really good, but it's nowhere near that sci-fi mess-with-your-mind fix that I got from LOST and Heroes. Plus, I don't have Showtime, so I have to order the DVDs, and it's a pain.

Oh yes, I've heard of that show!
Never really watched a lot of it, because they switched it from FOX to Showtime, so I've only seen a few episodes.
Have you ever watched Psych? That's a good show.

Apparently 'homeroom' is the first five minutes of second period, because some seniors don't have classes first period. It took a few days to get used to it this year.

Apparenntly we only have homeroom on the first day, and then again on the first day of the second semester to get our schedules.
I miss homeroom though! It was always fun to come visit you and discuss LOST.

My summer's been great so far! I just went to Sewanee in Tennessee for two weeks for an amazingly awesome writing camp. I start my job at Writer's and Books in the city on Monday, too, which should be exciting! Other than that I've been watching a lot of Dexter, Doctor Who, and movies.

I watched Doctor Who the other day! XD
Didn't fully understand what was going on because I was only half watching it, but I have plans to try to get into the series and understand what's going on, ha ha. :]
(It's set in Britain and has to do with aliens, correct?)

Yay! Potential Whovian!!!

The five year olds were actually awesome--and turned out to be ten year olds instead. I helped out with a Shakespeare class and we did an abridged production of Midsummer Night's Dream. And I was so proud of them!!
