Hello! My name is Dakota or Tobi, to those of you who accompanied me to school and Koty to those who are related to me. I'm 19 years old and I live in Colorado, studying Geology at Front Range Community College, hoping one day to possibly work for Halliburton (something I'll enjoy just because of the Boulder pricks that hate on the company.) I have one tattoo and several piercings that I love and feel like they are a part of me. Without them, I feel naked. I do art as a hobby and like to think I'm pretty decent at it. Most of my work is traditional and therefore, not on this site just simply because scanning shit is a pain in the ass and I don't have time. I've started experimenting with some digital stuff, but I have a long ways to go with it. I have a Siberian Husky/wolf hybrid named Rinku who is one of the few loves of my life. She is the sweetest dog you could ever hope to meet and I'll be sad the day she is no longer at my side. I am also deeply in love with horses and have been since I was a young girl. Since starting college, I've been trying to save up money from my part time job at Domino's to buy one. It's not working so well... Alive and kicking. Life's changed a lot for me in recent years. I enlisted in the Army, finished training, and ended up stationed in Germany.

It's pretty rad. You're in the heart of Europe, so everything is at your fingertips. Once my passport comes in, I'm planning a weekend trip to London. But while I've been here, I've gone scuba diving, paintballing, and driven across the country.
I miss my gallons of chocolate milk.

Nope. They use the metric system over here, so everything is measured in liters. And the milk is more expensive. No more $4 gallons like back home.
Oh, and the cost of gasoline at German prices? About $8 per gallon.

That hurts just to think about. Β I quite enjoy my $3.75 premium here in Colorado. (Yay for living in the state with the lowest gas prices) especially since I have to drive and hour to get to school and an hour to get home. Β Does nothing kind to my wallet. Haha. Β And yeah, I kind of wish the US would switch to the metric system. Β Would make my Medical Math class a breeze. Β No silly conversions.Β

Thankfully, we're issued ration cards here that allow us to buy certain goods at American prices (fuel, coffee, and beer, I think), as long as your filling up gas on base, or with the gas station chain the US governments contracts to (I don't recall which)
