hmmm.. to be honest, i'm still learning in the college after all. I have never been work as a professional artist before, except sometimes i work with "them" as a freelance 2d artist. So i don't really have an quite experience to answer your question, sorry.

)) im student in russua and we had special course called "the history of waorld literature" there we were supposed to learn boring dates etc. but we had cool teacher , who learned us to see concepts through the developing of the world literature )

Aahh, history of world literature ~ ... I would like that at least had taught me that, but from a technical school, the profesor only taught me the methodical, and no culture, philosophy, art or literature.

heh im from russia and we have same problems... i remember from school
for exaple if the geography teacher is ill they cold replace her whith athletics coach )))
And in univercity is the same thing... i started drawing seriously about a year ago, ind now i feel sorry that i study orientalistic (there is nothing exiting in it belive me ), instead of going to the art school and univercity ... That professor was one of few ones who at least worked whith us , not reading from his books...
